R.O.B. which hand is male which is female?

I have a R.O.B. on the way but he is missing his left claw. As a result I am looking for a replacement. Can anyone tell me which claw is male and which is female. I guess also if I'm just looking at generic pictures of claws for sale. Is there a definite way to determine which is which?
