Awesome New DS Game Coming out!

I know what you're all thinking...you have been dreaming of this day for years, and finally it has come.  There will be an official Silly Bandz DS video game.

Yes kids, not only can you be obsessed with wearing these cute little bracelets, but soon you will be able to lay in bed before going to sleep and play the new Silly Bandz DS game.  If you're lucky, you might even have more dreams about them.

The game will be made by Zoo Games, which has already released such amazing titles as Hello Kitty: Birthday Adventures, Jelly Belly: Ballistic Beans, Dream Salon, and M&M's Adventure.

OK ok ok, seriously now.  I mean, I know I shouldn't be surprised by this announcement, as we've seen countless examples of game titles capitalizing on popular toys, and even games created specifically to sell toys and such, but C'MON!  Seriously???  There are already so many terrible DS and Wii games it's not even funny.  Maybe the game will actually be really fun.

    That would have been like making a Slap Bracelet game on the NES when I was a kid. At least those made sense; these morons are seriously buying rubber bands.

    This is about as valid of an idea for a VG as making one based on a TV public service announcement.

    I guess I am not that suprised about this. However, if you think about it, if you were a kid during the late 80's / early 90's and silllybandz was around and popular you might be interested in a sillybandz game coming to the Gameboy. As we get older it is easy to laugh about stuff like this, but in the eighties and nineties product placement games were made all the time...Cool Spot, Yo Noid, Chester Cheetah, you name it. Although, I think most of us can agree that a majority of these were not so enjoyable to play.

    this is about like the modern equivalent to trolls on treasure island



    I'm wondering what ever happened to the nintendo seal of approval weeding out stuff like Ninjabread man. though LJN got past that safeguard somehow......

    Yea, that's true Cool Spot was enjoyable to play. A majority of them not so much fun to play is what I meant.
