new icon idea

i think it would be pretty cool if ppl with a complete set got an icon (a diff one for each set) snes nes etc

also another idea is an icon for SE owners

just throwin' it out there.

    Good idea in theory but it seems no two people have the same idea of what constitutes a complete set. How about we just keep the collection tool as a living testament to exactly what you have image

    I like the idea of being able to see, at a glance, who has complete sets. But I agree with Dan too.



    Maybe color the icon silver for loose and gold for CIB? Licensed carts only? That should be generic enough.

    Then tweak the icon in some manner for Stadium Events or have a separate one altogether?

    I've been tinkering with a signature-style status bar that will show your completion percentages (based on your collections). I'm not super happy with how it's turning out (yet), but I'm convinced it can be cool eventually.

    Are you doing an animated bar, similar to mine, that will cycle through all the collections?

    1 bar for Nintendo and 1 for Sega?

    I disagree. I often ignore people's sig's and I am sure people ignore mine. HOWEVER, I love glancing at "who's" post I am reading and looking at the icon's they have earned next to their name(Unless it is bunnyboy's, it just gives me a headache)

    I tend to agree, I pay no attention to non-graphic sigs whatsoever.

    Retrobasement, about the icons, having one for a complete set is a good idea, but with the dynamics of buying/selling that a lot of people are doing it would be difficult to validate a collection.
