Are those hong kong version games worth something?

I'd like to know how much hong kong version games are worth, CIB.
These titles in mind: Metroid - duck hunt - soccer
Anyone got an idea?

  • It depends on who you ask, whether or not they're CIB, and whether or not the 5 people who collect them has that one or not. I know that sounds crazy, but it's true. Loose, I personally think they're worth around $40. CIB, I'd say $75. Now, if you include Mah-jong, then you're talking big bucks, because there's only 2 verified copies known to exist in collector's hands.
  • Thanks for the info Dain, you're full of ressources!!

Do you think there's a significant difference between the Metroid, Duck Hunt and Soccer games?
  • I'd say Metroid might fetch a bit more, but only due to popularity of the game itself. Personally, I think most of them are worth about the same (except Mah-jong). Are you looking to sell some? If so, send me a PM and maybe we can work out a deal.
  • How about Mike Tyson's Punch Out and Rad Racer - cart only?
  • Rad Racer is one of the most common ones I've found. I've had at least 4 copies of it in the last few years. Still, loose, I'd say most are worth around $35-40.
  • Cool, thanks Dain!
  • i have a Hong Kong version Excitebike if anyone is interested....
  • Hey guys, just to let you know that I received the games this week. Cartridges are in mint shape, but all boxes and Soccer's manual have issues. I will try to restore the stuff to the best I can without altering it and will post detailed pictures of everything.
