I still need a CIB, or sealed, Power Glove for my accessories collection. I don't want to pay the prices they go for on ebay, they always go high. It's one of the most common accessories, there is always a few on ebay. I think they go for so much because so many people remember them from back in the day as being so cool and "high-tech" at the time. A lot of the other accessories, nobody has ever even heard of.
Does this include the japanese famicom version? I have one of those sealed sitting next to me - don;t want to open it as I know it's famicom and the plug is different to the NES. Oh how do I wish for a tutorial on how to change the plug for a NES one as I have a few dead controllers sitting around that I could 'liberate' the plug from.
It was awhile back. The info is most likely stored away on my old computer. The guy didn't want to sell them one at a time at any discount if thats what you are thinking. He was either going to sell the whole lot at a "reasonable" profit err....I mean price OR leak out a few once every great moon to keep the price high. I just saw one end at 200+ I dunno if thats the same seller but if people are paying that much perhaps the deal wasn't such a bad one after all.
Anyone is his position would do the same thing. If you REALLY want to find him I'd think it wouldn't be too hard. Keep a search set for new sealed power gloves and email every seller till you find him or someone who bought from him.
