    image  Apologies.

The real challenge of this game is beating it cooperatively anyway.  image

  • When we both beat it without dying at 160k+ each, then I will consider it conquered.

    Campout goal.  image
  • I know Twin Galaxies is the official game records database, but It would be cool for NA to track some of our top scores of select games with just screenshots. The whole recording thing, is just a pain in the rear.
  • There was a rumor that this game will be on the 360 using Kinect.
  • I would really like this to make its way onto the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, but not with the Kinect. God no.

    x2
  • I'm going to load this up onto the NES and see if I can get around to beating it this time. I've never actually beat the game.
  • This is a sentimental favorite of mine. Love it. And rather than tell an amusing anecdote concerning it, I will let you decide of you wanna read: http://nintendolegend.com/2010/11/marble-madness/
  • Good story. image I didn't know about the A boost until an adult either!

Love your site dude, very nice read!

  • Thanks guys -- I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only one on the A thing! XD
  • You know, I just now found out about the A button Speed Boost by reading your review...maybe that's why I was never able to make that jump.
  • That's what you get for not reading the manual image  I admit I always played the game first, and then later read the manual.  For the first month or so of owning Super Mario Bros, I did not know about the run button.

I also made a complete set of maps for this game.  They can be viewed at:

This is absolutely amazing.  I'd like posters made of all of these.  $30 to someone who makes this possible.

Yeah I agree, Marble Madness map poster would be awesome.
  • I will get a poster made and should be able to get it done and ready for you to order by the end of this weekend. Thanks for the complements on the maps.
  • I used to love Marble Madness as a kid. I'll never forget the time my dad rented it and I got so excited at my kindergarten girlfriend's birthday party. I know it's extremely short, but I never beat it legitimately. The only way I could do it was by playing it on two player mode without someone playing against me. That way I could win all the races and get the time bonus. I could only do it with that extra time. I think you can do that on the NES version.
  • I just finished making a 12" x 24" poster for this game.  It is printed on high quality glossy paper and rolled up and shipped in a protective shipping tube so there will be no fold marks on this poster.

The poster is $10.00 plus $4.99 Shipping, if you order any additional posters the shipping will be free on those.

It can be previewed and purchased at:

    http://www.nesmaps.com/nesmapsstore.html#MarbleMadnessMap

PM me if you want to create a transaction on NintendoAge so we can leave each other feedback.
