Favorite NES Mega Man Robot Master

  • It is a toss-up between Quick Man (hence the avatar) and Magnet Man. In the end, I chose Magnet Man because after Mega Man 2 dropped, I sat at my kitchen table and tried to draw a bunch of new robot bosses. Magnet Man was one I created and I was thrilled when he appeared in the third game. Plus he has really great music in his stage.
  • I can't choose just one so...

    1. Cut Man - He reminds me of the cartoon. Such a bad voice.

    2. Metal Man - Good music and his ability is overpowered.

    3. Top Man - A good idea that could have been better executed.

    4. Nobody - I seriously didn't like Mega Man 4. The worst of the original series.

    5. Gravity Man - Catchy tune, amazing level design, fun boss to fight.

    6. Blizzard Man - Probably my favorite NES Mega Man song. Plus he's on skis, which is random.
  • I'm going with Bubble Man just because it's a fun fight. If I had to go with someone with the "cool" factor, probably Shadow Man or Metal Man?
  • Crash Man, because I love the sound of those Crash Bombs!!
  • Metal Man won on the Screw Attack top 10, and rightfully so image
  • Elec Man and Quick Man.
I chose Elec Man. He is very cool, his weapon is nice (also great to use), and he is quite fast. Quick Man is cool because he is so quick and I think he is one of the most difficult bosses to beat with the Mega Buster and without E-tanks (at least on Difficult mode).
  • I'd say Metal Man deserves his current status of winning. It is a cool character, I just went with a MMI enemy because of my history with the game. Best Easter present ever.

What? How does two seconds amount to a fun fight? Even if you blast Bubble Man with the peashooter, he's a total pushover.

I think the concept of Bubble Man is a fantastic one. But the execution was just pure crap. He should've presented a much larger challenge.

  • WHAT!?! No votes for Yamato Man!?! Lol. I went with Pharaoh Man. I've always been partial to the history of ancient Egypt, pharaohs, pyramids, mummies, cursed treasure, etc.
  • It's Guts Man for me. I really don't know why, but I've always liked him.
  • Snake Man FTW

Well, realistically.. With a couple exceptions, most of the fights in Mega Man 2 are two-second battles, even with the pea-shooter. I think that's one of the things that makes it stand out from the others though (in a good way). You actually feel like you're doing something when you're pounding away on the fire button, unlike MM3 and on.

Bubble Man's fight is fun for me though.. It's not too difficult, yes, but if you're trying to do it without getting hit, it's not like you can stand in place and do nothing.

  • Who the hell voted on Skull Man? SHOW YOURSELF. Vote wasted.
