How much would YOU pay for this F2 manual?

Taking into consideration rarity and condition, and pretending that you need it to CIB your copy (maybe you don't need to pretend), what would you pay for this manual?

  • Sure it's not minty... but beggars can't be choosers. I'd say it would still come really close to normal value.
  • I would say $125-$150
  • I'll go 200 easy, seeing as I do need it!!
  • Eh..I'd probably be tempted to go $200 myself, the only catch is, I'd be looking for an upgrade down the road.
  • At least your box is in nicer shape than that manual! ;-)
  • Well I do still need a manual but I wouldn't pay over 100 for that one. I don't want to have to upgrade my higher end stuff and i would have to do that with this one. I would pay 200 right now for a nice one though..

  • Doesnt look bad enough to me to need an upgrade, but I'd suggest a clearer photo. No tears, discoloration or creases? Just some wrinkles?

  • NGD would give you his semen and blood combined to get one
  • Those wrinkles might iron out if done properly...

  • I'd go along with the "It's just some wrinkles" crowd. As long as it's not teared, aor have a big rental security sticker on it, you should be able to iron it out, and it looks decent to me. I can here the I don't wanna upgrade later argument too, but that's a pretty decent manual for a rental only game.
  • i would pay $200, this one looks descent enough that i would not have to upgrade it. finding one better than that is going to be really tough and i think would sell for more than $200.
  • The bigger folds will iron out for sure,Those smaller creases are iffy at best.
  • I'll take a couple more pics of it and post them up later today...
  • it dont really look to bad to me, finding that one mint is a tough one though.
  • I don't think I'd have a huge issue going as high as $220 with this. There are no rips and it seems to be in good shape beyond the wrinkles and this one doesn't appear to be coming down in price anytime soon. This is all assuming I were trying to CIB a copy, I wouldn't drop that cash otherwise.
  • Yeah, I agree with all the other people saying it is $200+. It isn't THAT bad and doesn't have any stickers on it etc. Beggars can't be chooser's on this type of manual only.
  • Stickers are not that bad,If you have a steady hand and some balls to possibly ruin a $200+ manual.(see pics)
  • true, some stickers are easily removed, good luck with a thick laminated or security sticker though.
  • Wow, did you do that Chad? That is pretty impressive. Any sign at all on the manual there was a sticker there once?
  • Goo Gone will take about anything off, no joke. (except the stuff udisi mentioned)

  • I dont know Jason,Goo Gone on manuals tends to fade/smear the ink.And yes Sara,I did that myself,It was SUPER nerve racking.
  • ^^^ Looks like it paid off, though. That thing looks fantastic.
  • To tell you the truth, removing stickers from rare boxes/manuals and carts became one of my favorite parts of NES collectingimage

    Practice make perfect!!
  • I have never had any smearing or anything with goo gone, I just don't let it sit very long.

  • NGD I have no idea what you were trying to say..
  • Sorry. That was my first post after a long crummy day at work. Should in theory make more sense now....

  • I have had goo gone smear manuals only,on boxes its fine.Try Goo gone on a shitty black manual and rub it off with a paper towel and you will see black on the towel...
  • 20 dollars! Not a penny more. Of course I'll never get someone dumb enough to hand over one of these for that low.
