I havent played enough LJN games on NES to make a judgement, but for SNES, LJN BLOWS!! Almost every game I have played by them has been terrible. The only exception is T2 The Arcade Game, which I know a lot of people hate, but I enjoy it.
I dunno, I had a blast with WWF Raw and WWF Royal Rumble. And wasn't Maximum Carnage an LJN game?

Im not sure on Maximum Carnage, but I am pretty sure you are correct. I couldnt stand those wrestling games by LJN! There were a couple other wrestling games (cant remember which ones) that I loved much more than those. I just thought LJN's wrestling games were very slow and the controls were weird.

I'll give you the controls, it takes a fair bit to get used to them...however, when you do, if anything I found the games too easy. Still, even when raping the highest-difficulty CPU players, I always found the games fun. To each their own
EDIT: Unless you're referring to the NES wrestling games, because those were indeed shit.

super fun and hard at the same time , also the ability to have 4 people play was the shiz
i remember playing that game as a kid always getting stuck after a few mins of play
now going back and playing it hardcore for a few runs , its by far one the best NES games in my eyes
