It's all over now. Get ready for this boys...FEGGIN SCORE OF 23. This is very difficult to beat. I only lost two troops. You basically have to kill a troop EVERY round to get this high of a score, or low I should say. I did it basically entirely with two unicorns. You have to get really good at killing upper level troops with lower level ones. It's possible, for example, to take out dragons with knights if you're good. The computer has a bad habit of preferring angular attacks, so if you exploit this you can do better.
Nice score Stan. There's room for a better score, but not much.
I have to warn you about your picture. You must include your full username somewhere in the picture, and take the whole screen of your tv.
Since it's your first participation in the contest, I understand it is an error. Please, just take another picture of your tv with your username somewhere to validate your score.
SHIT NOOOOOO! I could show you the TV and me in it or my username on a card or something. You can tell it's the same TV. Would that work? I obviously didn't leave the NES on or anything. I think that should be good. Otherwise I can try to beat myself again. Sorry for screwing that up, I just looked at the score I needed and didn't read further. Next time I'll put it in there!

That's exactly what I'm asking you. No need to take it with the score, just show it is your tv, and turn on Archon just for the heck of it. Attach the new picture along with your score picture.
Also, in order to makes Bimmy's life easier, put your score in big fonts at the top your post.
And correction, I lost three troops, two corns and one knight. Stupid dark side teleported a golem (or whatever the big, evil dudes are) on a knight for some reason early in the game. Game me an opening to pull out corn two and then it was all over. Swept the board.
yup i dont post scores till sunday or saturday now. Im tired of getting bumped from the top 5. I probably wont even sniff it this week. I hate this game. Ive tried playing twice. Ill just finish for some participation.
Ha, we'll see Mog! It's highly, highly unlikely you can beat that score, and very difficult too. As I said, I only lost three troops. The ending would have come sooner if I was a little more daring. Very difficult. If you had beaten it you would have showed me already. KEEP TRYING AND KEEP FAILING!!!!!!

VERY impressive. That, I will have to say, is pretty much impossible to beat. I actually just tried to conquer my score and in three tries was unable to get below 40 even. Part of it is luck in the placement of those annoying obstacles. Man, to beat that it's pretty much a no go. I'll give it a few more tries, but I've probably been destroyed with that one! One trick I tried which surprisingly didn't get me to my last score range, is teleporting the unicorn out to the third white space from the top. Kill the thingie there, then the mimic, then wipe out the sorceress (if you're good enough) and you can have at the whole board. I'm really not sure, though, why my last score wasn't lower because I wiped it clean pretty fast. I almost think there's something else to how the turns work, but I can't figure it out.
Also impressive that you apparently pulled off a good bit of your attack with the phoenix. That piece is near worthless, very difficult to learn how to use it properly. Against close troops it's easy, but ranged troops are difficult, you have to really work angles and get them cornered for it to even be manageable. The unicorn is by far the most important troop for the light side, it can kill all if you learn how to use it. Phew, man, don't think I can beat this one. You're counting is actually off, by the way, it should be 8.
Oh, missed that, I was looking at the right side primarily. This score is really quite impossible. The enemy has 18 troops, so that's at least 18 moves there, maybe 15 considering the attacks they'll pull on you. That leaves you only roughly 8-11 moves to make to get that score.
Man, even with a near perfect game I was only able to drop my score by two points for a total of 21. I have to ask you Mog, did you play this raw? I don't mean to sound like a little bitch, but you either cheated or played a perfect game, the latter being about a one in a million chance. I only missed roughly 8 moves (one screw up death, and a couple of extra steps to take here and there), and that's still WAY above your base score without subtracting troops. I smell a Mog!

Seriously, 9 is an achievable score, and below 9 is possible. If you can't get any better than 20ish, you need to revise a few things in your strategy to score lower.
I'm telling you man, I've just played this game near perfect like five times in a row. Achieving that score might be possible, but it's very doubtful to me at this point. I only made two mistakes last game and was still way over his score (within 10). Conceivably, if he used a GG for the unlimited movement code, this score would be doable. I just can't believe it was done raw. I seriously made only two mistakes this last game. If 9 is possible, it has to be the perfect score, no way you can get lower. The math just wouldn't work out. Each time the computer moves counts as a turn, as well as you. With 18 troops on each side, 26 moves might be conceivable, but you'd have to have everything in your favor. The computer would have to not be able to use revive (that's easy to get out of the way), not use an elemental (also counts as a wasted turn for you), as well as some other things. Again, doesn't matter, because there it's not likely I'll get dropped from the five, but I think Mog and I have an ongoing war now. We must continue this in a separate thread when it's over! The Archon battle begins!
And there's no way for me to adjust my strategy. I teleport the unicorn over, and basically wipe out the entire army with JUST that piece. I move the phoenix over occasionally for weaker troops, but every turn the unicorn has enough movement to cover at least one piece. Do it right, and you can get one piece every turn, they'll attack you roughly once every other turn, and it ends in no time. But not 26 turns, I'm telling you the man is a cheat! War!
Mog is 100% legit when it comes to gaming, he is a great fucking player. He just sucks at Jeopardy is all. So quit your damn crying, also Archon is a game of strategy if you attack players when they are light sided spaces the health bar favors your piece.

Dude, chill out a minute, and listen to this:
The perfect score for this contest is 0: It would mean entering in a battle with the computer at each turn, and winning them all. It is hard to achieve cause the computer have to attack you every time he can, so it include luck/weak-strategy factor, but it is possible.
If you can't match Mog's score, (I repeat myself here), you need to readjust your strategy. Take a deep breath, think about it twice, and I'm sure you'll come up with a better score.
Never, it is a war! GG using monster! Ahhhhhh!!!!! Skull, yeah, I know, if you read what I said you'd see I said I only made two mistakes the last time. I simply cannot figure out how in the world he could manage a score like that without cheating when I was still 10 moves over his base score. Just doesn't add up! He's been fooling you all this time!
I thought 9 was still kind of high. I wasted at least 3 turns in that game. I died once, I healed once, and I didn't account for something and had to waste a turn (not attack).
Stan i think you have a hard on for this game or something. Seriously. I trust mogs score. hell i saw him run through tiny toon contest live. the mans a beast.
Hahahaha, don't worry guys, I'm just messing mainly. I honestly can't figure it out though. There HAS to be something else with the way the turns work. I'll have to read the manual later to see if the colors matter to turns as well. For example, one time I played and generally played the same as the game before, but the turns were WAY over what they were the last game. There has to be something else to the mechanics. And, just so we all know, it's not possible to get a score of 0. Each side has 18 troops. To get a 0, you'd have to move NO MORE than 9 times and the computer would have to move the other 9 into your troops. It's just not possible. Lower might be, maybe, but there has got to be something about the way the turns work that is not immediately obvious.
I doubt 0 is possible in a real game. It might be possible with savestates/tool assist, but that's about it. You'd have to be real lucky to get it with out cheating.
1 is very possible. I might be able to get 2, but I think Ill shoot for 5. The trick is to keep calm and not throw your controller

No need to post a picture because it doesn't beat it,
You do know that the top 5 people get points, right? This isn't a beat my score only contest

I can see you are all shattered by my power. It is okay to bow.
Like I said, most people don't post scores till Sunday night. Don't get too excited there buddy

No, he lost his Djini. 26 -17 = 9

I don't doubt any minute Mog's score is legit.
