Famicom to NES adapter with a front-loader

I'd like to purchase a Famicom to NES adapter (60-72 Pin) from consolegoods.co.uk, but I'm weary because I own a front-loader. Has anyone had experiences using this piece of hardware with a front-loader?

  • I have a similar one that has a ribbon connected on it. So to get the game out, you just pull the ribbon.
  • yeah the ribbon is the key, or take the top (lid) piece off your NES
  • Sounds simple enough looks like I'm gonna buy it, I was tempted to get an AV Famicon but I'd rather spend that extra money on games.
  • have you asked around the forums? someone should have a "honey bee" ribbon type.
  • AV Famicom rules IMO. But yeah, it's kind of expensive.

I'm sure you'll find someone here willing to sell you one of those adapters.
  • Alright I'll ask on the WTB forum, it would be easier to get one with a ribbon than adding a ribbon to that other one. Thanks for the helpful replies.
  • It says " not recommended for use with traditional front loading systems."   Plz submit

  • Just avoid the "Game Converter" brand, just bought one that looks mint, and it doesn't work at all.

    My T89 converter works flawelessly.
