Wife played DK Pie with me last night.

My wife never plays video games, but we where just sitting around and she asked to play out of the blue

Well, she cleared the game on the second game.  On the third she came damn near to beating me, after I lost all but one of my guys on the Pie factory, then she looped around to it. 

I was able to outscore her though and made it pretty far on the last man.  Probably should have just let her win, but damn she played better than I ever did starting out, although she was able to watch all my tricks.

Anyone else have some good stories?

    I went to go have a shower the other day, when I came out she had beat a whole world in NSMB. I'm not that surprised, because she kicks my ass at a lot of games.

    Mine more enjoys watching me play video games. She plays Wii Sports with me on occasion though.

    That is awesome. My wife will play on a regular basis but can only get her to play a handful of games like Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands, Snow Bros, and other puzzle like games. It really is awesome having a wife that takes a bit of interest in your hobby.

    Hell, my wife likes NES as much as I do. I had to buy DKPF just for her. She loves he DK. Also is she is having a blast with the new Vs. series released from Retrozone...other than that...she sticks to SMB's and Dr. mario/tetris type games...
