Changing Avatar

So, daily, I try to go back and check to see if I can change my avatar, and it says the area is down currently. Is this because of the server or w/e? Not sure, but wanted to note it and see if anyone else had problems changing theirs.

The entire imaging software area of NintendoAge is currently down due to server resources.

This is a side effect of that.

Note you can however change between existing avatars.
