New format of "Threads Posted In" section

Am I the only one that thinks that the new way this is designed is incredibly more terrible than the way it was before?  I loved before when someone would post something new in a thread that I had previously posted in, it would pop up to the top and I would know to go into this thread to read the new post.  Now it shows actual posts (which could be nice) but as of now, when I click "Threads Posted In" it is just a cluster-fuck of posts with infinite amounts of quoting and pics and other crap.  And it shows every post that has been posted.  This makes it impossible to use this section when I have posted in a thread where there is a lot of activity because everything in the "Threads Posted In" section is dedicated to the same thread.  Page after page after page of stuff from the same thread, when all I want to find is my FS thread so I can bump it, or I want to quickly navigate to the "Random Good BIN" thread when there has been a new post there to see if it is something I need.  Is there some way to change it around to not show all these post and just show that there was recent action in a thread I posted in?

  • This is a known issue. I was sort of forced to apply code that was unfinished to reduce server load in that area. I'm in the process of finishing it.
  • A workaround would be to just bookmark threads, then go to your "Today" tab to find the ones of interest.
  • Awesome news! Every time I clicked that button (which I was accustomed to doing multiple times everyday) I would just get so frustrated. Thank you for the update Dain! And I will definitely give that a try Jone, thanks!
  • oops, wrong thread.
  • 100% agree with CompleteSNES. Loved the old way, new way is horrid :x.
  • I look forward for it to return to the old way as this new way is terrible and not as user-friendly indeed.
  • I think I've got this fixed. Please post any other oddities here.

We can't go back to the exact way it was due to the performance issues with the original code. I can, however, tweak it to function similarly -- I just need to know what else I screwed up! image
  • Looks good! Thanks again Dain.
  • Seriously, this is great!! I am so happy to have it back!
