I'm leaning towards the blue. Shades of blue have been shown to alleviate headaches, and many 3DS users experience headaches after playing for thirty minutes... I'm hoping to stretch that to 35-40.
All kidding aside, if I pick one up, it's going to be black.
i just preordered the blue one, bigger question, what games are you getting? i preordered pilot wings and lego pirates of the Caribbean... i'll probably try to pick up one of the BD&A clean & protect kit so i can get some screen protectors and a couple extra stylus..
i just preordered a black one. i don't know if i'm going to get any games right away. maybe pilot wings or street fighter..i'm not excited for any of the launch games.
I'm getting the black one. The blue might be ok if it was all blue - the upper half's interior is black on the blue unit. I'd rather have it all uniform. Whichever color you get though, the 3DS is pretty cool. I played it yesterday at Best Buy, and the 3D is pretty neat, although you have to really adjust your eyes both before and after playing.

I'm grabbing Pilotwings and Steel Diver at the least. Pilotwings is a given, but the other is a great deal as it's actually 2 full games in 1, and I love submarine games. You got the side scroller with enemy subs, mines, rocks, whatever and torpedoes. But, game B or whatever is a little like Silent Service NES where you go ship hunting in a first person periscope view and sink the crap out of enemy ships and that's just cool to me.
I'm slightly considering Ridge Racer, Bust a Move, and SSF4. RR is a huge no if it's them recycling the courses yet again. BAM is $30 so it's cheaper and it's puzzles but if it's nothing much new I'll avoid it too. SSF4 I'm on the fence as I didn't like the terrible cheap AI of SF4 I had, hate it's $10 higher than the PS3 game price, and I know DOA is coming shortly and I loved DOA1(PS1) and DOA2(Dreamcast.)

I'd go with the aqua blue if I were purchasing it, it looks amazing. I would imagine the black would get a lot of fingerprints like the onyx colored DSL...fingerprints drive me insane.
I want a aqua blue one as well. The last Gameboy I bought were GBA (first release). Haven't tried a DS, or anything newer than the original GBA, so it will be a very different experience for me. It will be quite a leap.
Well, the black wii came out 5 years after the white, and the red wii came out 6 years or so....looks like I will be waiting a few years before I grab one. Not a fan of the blue or black...and my RED DS Fat is still running strong...no need to upgrade yet.
So, I just caved in and bought the Cosmic Black 3DS on its launch date here in Germany. I was going to wait until some real good titles come out but then thought I could treat myself with a birthday gift.

55% Cosmo black and 46% aqua blue... seems fishy to me
I think I'd like the blue better, but maybe they will release some even better colors for the holiday season.
