Nesruler's 2011 Contest Presents: Palamedes

Hey everyone!  I'm posting the new contest a little early tonight, and this week, it's going to be Palamedes.  Here are the rules:

  • Play on 1 Player Mode
  • Play on Level 5
  • Play until you lose
  • To get your score after you lose, select 1 Player Mode, Level 5 and immediately pause the game.  Your score will be in the high score spot.
  • Participation: 10,000

The contest ends Sunday, 3/27/11 at 10 PM NA time, 9 PM central time.  Your user name must be in the picture for your score to be valid.  The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid.  No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted.  Good luck everyone and have fun!

    So, how does one make more points on this game? Do I have to just keep eliminating the "dice", as they come out? or do I have to form series of something?

    Yeah you have to get 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, ect. or three in a row or more, 1, 2, 3... When you shoot those dice press down on the d-pad for points.

    ^^forgot about the awesome document archive NA has! Sooo, you gotta make "hands" of dice to make even more points... that sounds cool, let's see how I fare.

    Yep, kinda like yahtee. 1,2,3,4,5 is the best hand you can get. I had no idea what I was doing at first. Its funny this is one of the rare games that has the instructions on the front label of the cart.

    I might have time to do this today, depends on how I feel. They have me on iron therapy now and the 'Hexenheimer Reaction' or whatever they call it sucks. It's like my body is reawakening in parts and it hurts like fecking hell.

    Hahahahaa, thanks you damn Liechtenstein weirdo. Actually, no, apparently I'm now the poster child for strange and incredibly rare diseases. I guess that comes with collecting rare things. I'm one of the top doctors' like main patients now. I guess that's cool. Sometimes, doing the right things all your life just doesn't matter, shit just happens sometimes.

    New score for me. Just a note to everyone, I noticed that the NA clock appears to be behind 1 hour if you live in the Eastern Time Zone. Not sure if this is effecting other people in other time zones, but this contest will still end at 10 pm eastern time/9 pm central time.
