Indigo's Box of Holding (Ends March 25th at 7:00 pm EST)

Hey NA, it's finally time to make some room, and since NES toasters haven't been kind to me I have a fair bit of peripherals that may be of use to you. Before I show you the goods though, let's get a few ground rules out of the way.

1. Bidding starts at $18.00. This is what it costs me for shipping a flat rate box and insurance, so these costs will always be included in the bid. Nothing tacked on afterwards.
2. Higher bids must be made in increments of $1.
3. Anybody from the 50 States of the USA is welcome to bid. Sorry, but I don't ship to Canada or Internationally--nor to I ship to APOs or oddball US island territories.
4. The auction starts as soon the thread is posted and ends on March 25th at 7:00 pm Eastern Standard time.
5. I take payments via Paypal (you cover the fees if they apply) or Amazon Payments.
6. All sales are final with no returns. I'll do my best to represent the contents of the box; however, some items may have been tested while others weren't--this is something you might want to keep in mind when deciding how much you want to bid.
7. If you're curious about my feedback you might want to have a look on Cheapassgamer, fortunately I haven't had any issues when dealing with other collectors and I'm still chugging along at 100% positive, with 71 transactions strong.

So without further ado, here we go with the contents of the box.

NES peripherals.

- Two Zappers (One gray and one orange)
- Three of the classic rectangular controllers
- One Nes MAX Pad controller (this is one with a turbo function)
- Two NES AC Adaptors
- One Nintendo RF switch

I'm sure I haven't tested all the controllers and guns, but being that these were going to be for my personal use, I only saved the ones that were in the best cosmetic condition.

Games across various platforms.

- Double Dribble NES Complete in Box (No outstanding condition issues on this one, just some light edge wear, manual has a fold in the back)
- Sonic the Hedgehog "Not For Resale" cart (Genesis) with outer box and manual (Everything here looks to be at least Very Good, if not Like New condition)
- Atari 5200 - Berserk
- Atari 5200 - Qix (both of these are used/cart only, but don't appear to have any major cosmetic issues)
- SNES Yoshi's Safari (faint thumbprint on front label, otherwise hardly used. Tested to play.)
- Playstation 1 Jade Cocoon (This one is disc only, it shows some wear and crashed about 45 minutes into the game for me. I think it needs resurfacing).

- n64 Perfect Dark
- n64 Army Men sarge's Heroes 2
- n64 Pokemon
(All of these are cart-only were tested not to work, I think the contacts could use some cleaning)

Other random stuff.

- One n64 A/V cable (may also be compatible with an SNES)
- Three packs of sealed Desert Storm trading cards
- A Mario Kart DS manual, some Playstation back liners
- A Dreamcast Tony Hawk Pro skater manual and liner
- A Sailor Moon Manga in Japanese

- Unknown treasures to be added later. If I see bids I'll have some incentive to look for more image
Also if bidders have a trade list on NA, I could check your wants and see if I have any of that stuff to spare!

Added:

- The Making of Resident Evil 4 promo DVD in Very Good condition.
(A ten dollar value, five dollars even!)

Comments

  • I will start you off at $18 for some oddities.
  • I'm going to use my once a day bump and make an addition to the box.

It's going to be...a Resident Evil 4 promo disc for the Nintendo Gamecube! This item shows the making of Resident Evil 4, behind the scenes goodness--it's even mysteriously in a DVD format instead of a mini-disc...which means it's playable on the Playstation 2 and not the Gamecube. What a strange conspiracy!
  • Only two days left, it looks like the laserman could be uncontested?
  • Less than 24 hours remaining. I'll end it as soon as 6:59 on my clock flips over to zeroes.
  • About 45 minutes left, know that I am with you in the final moments!
  • The auction is over! No more bids recognized beyond this point.
  • I'd just like to take a moment to thank the participants and mention that the necessary transaction has been initiated with elitewombat, so if there's nothing further the roving mod-angels can do their lockdown thing.
