FS/Auction threads
I am an active member on a car forum, stlsubaru.com. I am an active vendor there to sell car parts and offer discounts on OE Subaru parts off the manufacture suggested retail. I joined the forum to sell to the St. Louis community, but also participate in the forum activities like I do here.
Well my point is, just recently you cannot view For sale or vendor threads unless you are an active member with a minimum post count of 30 posts. Yes, this does effect me directly since I pay to be a vendor there, but I also like it because it weeds out the people trying to just make a buck.
I would like to see something like this here on NA, what are your guys/gals thoughts on the subject?

Personally I would rather people post if they actually have something to say/want to post, not to try to make some sort of quota.
Just giving a counter argument, I'm on the fence about this myself.
I see the point, but hasn't NintendoAge always been a little different because all are welcome and there have been no restrictions like many other forums. Yes it causes some users who come only to sell, but don't most of them disappear when they realize Ebay gets them more $$$?

I agree with you too paul, we have a very welcoming forum and I would like to keep it that way. Might not be a good way to counter this.
