I'm curious how flawlessly the 3D is working for everyone. For me personally i see a faint double image constantly but most of the time it is not noticeable on a busy screen.
I'm borderline barfing when I try to play with the full 3d effect on. I get really sick the second I loose the "sweet" spot and it goes blurry. I just shut the 3d off. I never was a fan of 3d ever cause I get so sick. Don't get me wrong the effect is amazing and works great but my eyes cannot take it. Gimme Rad Racer and I'll be good

I don't know how long you've tried it for but my experience with 3d was the same when I first tried the Virtual Boy It was so bad after one minute of play I had to put my head down on the desk and close my eyes. I felt so awful but the more I did it the more I became accustom to it. Nowadays I have no eye strain at all. So I think it is just a matter of training your eyes/brain. Saying that theater 3D is a big no no for me.
As long as I only have the 3D about half way up, which btw still produces a great effect IMO, I don't have any ill effects. When I have the 3D on full blast then I get a bit of eye strain and a slight headache starts up after a bit.
I got the same problem with wolfenstien and Goldeneye. I eventually became used to it after many barftastic hours. It's called simulator sickness. My mind thinks I'm moving but I'm not.
I played mine for about an hour yesterday with the 3d all the way up, no strain on my eyes or anything. I used to look at a lot of those 3d hidden pictures when I was a kid, so I think I may be immune to it.
I usually keep the slider around halfway and if I hold the 3DS just right then I have no problems with the effect. But as soon as I loose the sweetspot then I start seeing the image double.
It works pretty well for me too but I agree about the "sweet spot" thing. This is especially true with Ridge Racer, since you're glancing at the bottom screen here and there and it can throw you off. Pilotwings seems to be done just right.
I've had no issue with it, but I'm not sure if it's causing or at least prolonging a headache. Last Friday it was so bad I kept the room dim and laid there listening to tv, and the next couple days was better enough to go and do stuff. It lingered a few days but I'm fine today, and I used it and tried between full 3D slider and 1/2. The depth isn't terribly larger, but I do see it almost makes me feel like I'm going crosseyed but I'm not with it up fully. At 1/2 the depth is just slightly less but the feeling is gone. I think you really just need to find a personal sweet spot and go with it and I'm somewhere between half and full until I figure it out.
I tried out Pilotwings yesterday at Best Buy and I thought it was very cool, but not perfect. I too kept the 3D effect around half (slightly under half actually) and it was enjoyable. But, if I moved my head even an inch to either side, it became a blurry mess. Hopefully this is just the beginning, because I thought the technology was amazing, but just not 100% perfect yet, so eyestain still happens after some time.
But, like others have mentioned, even without the 3D effect on, the games looked great.
Every person I have showed it agreed with me about the faint double image on screen. It's bizarre that I haven't read a single thing about this online.

faint? It's obvious to me. if the center's correct, the edges are doubled.
From what I understand of the tech (basically lenses that shift every second column of pixels to the left or right eye alternating), should be find for colour blind.
I enjoyed playing Pilotwings on the 3DS for the first time. However I was expecting the 3D to actually project outward rather than inward and adding just more depth to the gameplay. I do think it is a cool effect, but it is not something I would turn on everytime I play.

Still can't see the 3D...
Can't see it? Do you have some sort of eye condition? Does it just appear to be a blurry mess?
The box looks like someone was scribbling on a piece of paper while using my 3DS box as a clipboard!
In addition to that the other side has a large dent which rips through the outside layer a bit.
Since I like to collect everything and keep it in mint condition this kind of thing bugs me.
$275 for a new system you expect it to look.... well NEW!
Here's some examples. As much as I want to open it up and play it I'm waiting to hear what Amazon is willing to do.
I'd like them to pay for return shipping and ship me a new one ASAP.
At least Pilot Wings Resort looks new.. Here's a high res scan in case anyone is interested:

I have lazy eye, and only my right eye works correctly and/or sends pictures to my brain.
I have it all the way up also.
the more I play the more I get used to it also.
works great for me! I am taking pictures like crazy, but really want to try some more games. wish some good ones would come out!
It's kind of bizarre it feels like I am still waiting for the system to be released.

I have to leave it at full or close to it.
