  You only get one point per person you trade with. If you trade with me 20 times, you don't get a gold medal, you only get 1 feedback. So you have 18, that means you traded with 18 different users, not 18 different times. I think it's to prevent 2 users from giving each other feedback for non existent transactions just to boost their number.
