Super Mario X

Did a quick search here and didn't come up with anything, so not 100% sure if someone has posted this yet (and if it hasn't been posted on NA yet I'm surprised). This is definitely worth checking out!

  • hay i was wondering if someone can be able to put this on a snes cart to play on a snes system? i would buy a few for my friends
  • If this could be made into a NES hack and put on a cart I think I would easily pay $100 for this. Level editor included of course.
  • This is awesome! Looks like it's too promising to be able to run off of actual hardware though
  • april fools? hahaha id pay a bunch for a cart of this. If an snes/nes cant handle it....maybe a 64? im not knowledgable of these such things though.
  • Played around with it for a few minutes and seems pretty sweet! I would kill for this on a SNES cart.
  • k i downloaded and played that.....hellllllllllllls yeahhhhhh. That is fantastic. thanks for posting it. A stand alone no emulator needed game. Holy balls that was fun.

All i needed to see was tanooki toad and i was hooked.
  • Great fun game, and FREE! Someone over on BYOAC posted this asking if it was cab friendly. I will definitely be putting this in my MAME cab.
  • My buddy and I have been playing this on his computer with a USB controller and we're hooked. Would be excellent to see someone put this on a cart
  • This looks amazing. Not sure if it would fit on a SNES cart though - the download is 37 MB (I didn't download it yet), but it looks like a very large project.
  • Downloading it right now. I think having this on a cart may be too much to ask for... It would be sweet though.
  • I want it on a snes cart. Someone HAS to make it!
  • This looks great. It is not just a mario game since I see elements of Zelda II and Metroid included. I highly doubt the SNES could run this on its CPU especially from the shots of the 100 or so mario sprites on screen at once. That would probably crash the system.
  • Holy crap that looked amazing.
  • Yea, how did I never hear about this until now!? I thought I was fairly in the know about this kind of stuff!! I guess I was way off. Yea, I'm 99.99% sure it could never run on real hardware, which is REALLY disappointing. But its still an amazing project!
  • Yeah, maybe a dumb down version would work on the SNES. Thats pretty awesome though. Thanks for the post.
  • there are a bunch of other games on there too. they all look pretty cool (i haven't played any yet...can't while at work)
  • This has now motivated me to go buy a USB controller. This is so awesome...but I agree with you guys, don't think this running on a SNES or anything of the sort would be a possibility. Don't mind playing on the computer though ...great post!

You might be disappointed....The joystick function in this game does not seem to work with a USB retroport.

Was anyone able to get one to work??

But you should still go buy one anyway, they are totally awesome.
  • You should be able to use Xpadder to simulate a keyboard with your gamepad... xpadder.com

I'm glad people are digging this stuff.

Aw man well knightriderce said the one his friend has works, so if he could post which model he has that'd be awesome!

But yeah, I have been meaning to get one forever actually. Whenever I get the money for one though, I always end up just spending it on games I will get one soon though....maybe!
