  • yeah, he does it right. where is he? must be in cali
  • I wonder where they get those games and have no idea of what they have? I hope this isn't the end result of home invasions.

Nice stuff though, and god would make any collector smile ear to ear once they get in the car. He passed up a CIB small box Gyromite and tons of other awesome stuff! Loved the comments.
  • Holy crap that was cheap, did I hear $5 a piece and PDS was in there... Man I wish people in my neck of that state were that stupid still but they all got informed on using ebay after a reseller robbed them some months ago and pissed off the lot of em.
  • You have to have some balls to negotiate a dude down a measly $10 then tell him you don't actually have the cash on you and you will come back in an hour.

    Common happening at flea markets.

lol.  Actually, I had come to the swap with $100, my usual.  I had just blown through about $60 of it and had $40 left which I handed to the guy to hold the items.  Then went across the street to the 7-11 and hit up the ATM and was back within about 10 minutes

If I ever make it back down to SoCal, I'm going to have to drop in on the swap meets while you're there...
  • Watching him get those Saturn games made me remember when I was at Value Village and saw this guy with two complete Longcase Sega Saturn games. One was Albert Odyssey and the other was Dragon Force...he got them for $5 each...I would have got them had I gotten there just a minute or two earlier! Grr!
  • I've been watching BGH since the beginning, It's always great to see what can be found at those swap meets.
  • Is it me, or does the video take like 15 minutes to load? I'm pretty impatient when it comes to videos but want to watch!
  • So the lesson here is to come to the meet with several hundred dollars, and when you see a bag of goodies being "held" for someone behind a counter because they had to go to the ATM, throw cash-in-face and steal the deal.
  • Now you're onto it Zing. Money talks and bullshit walks. If you walk, and I'm a vender, it's bullshit until cash says otherwise.
  • Yeah, I'm blown away they would hold it. They don't do that here. (after 50 minutes of downloading in the background, I was able to watch it.
  • lol, grab bag heaven!
  • Here is another show full of classic gaming finds!  Enjoy!

  • i like game gavels idea, but the lack of people *it's not big enough yet* and lack of in depth pictures *thumb nails circa 95 for the win* I hope they make it and everytime he does a bgh i'ma check cuz i really wanted that zwei
  • lol, dude! that vender always has the bomb stuff! just a couple weeks ago a raged the games, always drop prices if you buy 'a lot' lol. 5buck games turn to 2 or 3 bucks

if I saw those games, I would probably consider starting a master system, saturn collection.
  • That's the west coast for ya. I live on the other coast in South Carolina, and I assure you, game hunting is the opposite of that vid. I get excited if I find a place that has crappy carts, just because it's another place to look, which is also scarce. I never find anything rare, ever. Saturn games, never...Sega CD, never...TurboGrafix? A Turbo-what? That's the actual response I get. Any shops around town that carry NES, SNES, and N64, got their games from me. They sell them for $5 and up, and these redneck hillbillies, think if they have Mario Bros/Duckhunt, they're sitting on a goldmine. It's bad. If I wasn't living so close to my mother (she has cancer, and I assist in aide) I would have moved, years ago. I hate it here! Myrtle Beach, great place to visit, the worst place to live.
  • well gbscotty i've lived in so cal my entire life and it's rare to find a deal like that. Theres a swapmeet in compton i used to have great luck at, but cypress swapmeet *from his intro* is a fuck'n deadzone. I've been going there since i was 8 and they always want atleast twice ebay prices. Best deal i've ever gotten there was a FF3 for 5 bucks, and that was after about 2 years of nothing.

idk how the heck he finds stuff at goldenwest i've never found anything of note there

What does the lack of in depth pictures mean? I dont get what your trying to say.

Gamegavel allows as many pictures as you want and they arent just thumbnails...
  • There the size of your avatar. I never know the condition of anything which leads me to not use the site.

  • This is a lot bigger than my avatar.

  • For comparison purposes, heres a "zoomed in" Ebay pic which is pretty much the same size as Gamegavels...so I still don't get what your saying as pics have been like this for as long as I remember. These pictures arent large enough for you to determine condition?

  • Holy effing shite! Congrats!

Edit:  And ..... DF has the ram sticker!  Simply amazing find dude.

I was actually going to go to that Cypress one soon. Now I'm not. Have you checked out the Santa Fe Springs one? There's a lady who has a ton of stuff and it's reasonably priced (pretty much eBay without shipping).
  • Santa fe springs is pretty hit and miss. It's been a year since i went tho so idk about that lady. You'll find alot of clothes and old bicycle parts,w ith a smattering of snes stuff. Last time i went tho i got a genesis with flashback and sonic 2 cibs for 1 dollar total so there is a deal every once and again.
