She cleaned up real nice, and now has a new home :-) Just goes to show ya, this stuff can still be saved. I put many hours into cleaning it though. Stripped it completely down and soaked it in cleaners, then got out the tooth brush and scrubbed every crevice. Works like new and looks nice too. 1 Top Loader successfully saved from death :-)
Such an awesome find. I've never had any massive hauls like that. Also the market for NES and SNES games will never crash I tell you, NEVER! Everything is getting to be getting more rare. Supplies of these old games will continue to dry up and stay that way. So good job rescuing this stuff from it's dark and dirty prison.
Wow that was you? When I was debating the toploader vs toaster pick up to replace the one I got well paid on I saw that. It wasn't in my range and I didn't need duplicate games but it was tempting to see. Frightening how bad that thing was and then to look that damn good. Great job getting the crap off that thing.
Tanooki - haha thats crazy man. Yea i thought for the condition of the top loader after the hours and hours of refurbishing and the conditions of the games it was a nice "starter" lot for anyone. Sure was cheaper than when i had to buy my first top loader back in 2002ish. I remember at that time loose toploaders were selling for $150++. i think i paid like $165.00 for mine with like 2 crappy games, and it was nowhere near as nice as this one turned out.
