  • I wish we had Goodwill in Canada. We just have Value Village & Salvation Army and they're both far more expensive up here than what I've seen from people in the states' posts on here.
  • aw man! That really sucks!
i dont have value village here in Texas. but we have Thrift town and its pretty expensive. they where selling Atari games for $5 and the controllers for like $10.
    its complete madness!!
  • Sweet deal dude! Genesis is such a fun system. Does the console perform well?
  • There are some reasonable thrift stores here, but the Value Villages here sell N64 & NES/SNES games (usually sports games) for around $6 each. I was able to get Ocarina of Time for $5 last time I was out but it's definitely not my main method of collection here.

Edit again: edited the wrong thread haha
  • Awesome finds!

Goodwill is in "Canada". There is one here in Newmarket, Ontario. The only video game items I have seen there were a few dirty consoles.
  • I wish my Goodwill Negotiated. The one time I tried negotiating resulted in a higher price on the item.
  • i have no clue im missing the R/f cable but the 1st model i have works great!
  • oh cool yeah most my goodwill has snes and nes games but its all sports..i even found a 32x game but its also a sports  game.
my brother got Ocarina of time for $4!!
  • wow their really stingy! :/ i t sounds like they really dont want to sell it then. i negociated with an old lady at the register
  • i didn't know you could negotiate w/ goodwill. i'll have to try that out. (they should allow it to an extent. they are getting donations....and any money they make is better than nothing)
  • Didn't think that you could negotiate with them? But honestly, $1.50 for everything there is a bit cheap, don't you think, especially when you're dealing with a charity?
  • Ooh that's a nice steal
  • yeah i got the negotiation from my mom..she does it all the time.
so i stated doing it to see where it would get me.
  • Ontario hs goodwill, value village, salvation army, and some christian benefit shops but Ive never found anything the odd rom game or madden.
