First Time Garage Sale Finds...
So, my parents live about an hour away from me, and my work is right in the middle of us. Their little village was having their community garage sale today, so I decided to head there straight after work.

Throughout the day, my mom had been mentioning to people that her son was looking for "old video games." One lady said told her that she had a big bag of stuff at home that she'd sell to me, so my mom gave the lady her phone number. Later in the day, some guy calls my mom and she gives him my phone number. I talk to the guy and he says he has a system and some games for $20, sounds fair to me, so after I stop into my mom's to say hi, I head to the guy's house and bought this for $20

It turns out that the guy got my mom's phone number from the lady that stopped by her house earlier. She went to the guy's house and saw the NES and told him to call, heh. Nice, right?
So, as I'm driving to this guy's house, I notice that this area has WAY more sales than near my parents', so I decide to stick around and do some looking around. Most places say they sold everything video game related first thing in the morning. Then one lady says, "Oh yeah, I've got this stuff."

She says, "$2." I say, "ok."
Finally at the very last garage sale I'm going to stop at before heading back to my mom's house, I ask if they have any video game items for sale. They tell me, "No." Then from deep in the garage, a young girl shouts, "I have some Sega stuff in my trunk!" I stay to check it out, and this is what I got...

I ask, "How much?" She looks them over and says, "$7." I say, "Deal!"
Not a bad day, I'd say, especially since everything had been picked over earlier in the day by the big garage salers....

Those community garage sales in the smaller towns are freakin' gold mines. Very decent chance of good finds like that. Nice pickups!
