Various SEGA, SNES and N64 Games
So this guy contacted me wanting to sell some older SEGA, SNES and N64 games. I asked for a list of the games and this is what I got.
SEGA: Vectorman, Beyond Oasis, Sonic 2, Lost Vikings, Shining Force 2
SNES: Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back, R-Type 3, Young Merlin, Donkey Kong Country, Zelda: Link To The Past, Super Mario World, Super Mario Allstars, Lufia 1&2, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, Mega Man X, Spiderman X-Men Arcade Revenge, Illusion of Gaia
N64: Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, 007:Goldeneye, Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
I also get a SEGA, SNES and N64 with 2 controllers each.
He said the majority of them have box and manual and he'll give me the complete list after work.
So, some decent titles in there that are possibly CIB, what would you pay for all that or seperately?

Sega stuff is usually extremely cheap, and easy to find CIB (especially earlier prints before Sega started using cardboard for their boxes). A Genesis system itself (Models 1 or 2) would run you $10-$15. A Model 3 maybe somewhere around $20-$25. All of which depending on their condition.
Vectorman - $8
Beyond Oasis - $10
Sonic 2 - $5
Lost Vikings - $8
Shining Force 2 - $20
SNES games can be fairly pricey depending on the condition and how sought after they are. I've seen complete copies of Earthbound go for $180 before (it was in beautiful condition though). RPGs particularly go for retarded prices. That being said I'm not a firm believer in paying retarded prices for games that aren't even really rare. Model 1 system should be $20. A Mini version would be $25-30.
Super Star Wars - $15
Empire Strikes Back - $15
R-Type 3 - $10
Young Merlin - $10
Donkey Kong Country - $25
Zelda: ALTTP - $35
Super Mario World - $30
Mario All Stars - $30
Lufia 1 - $45
Lufia 2 - $50
Secret of Evermore - $40
Chrono Trigger - $80
Mega Man X - $20
Spiderman/X-Men - $10
Illusion of Gaia - $30
I'm being generous with Chrono Trigger, considering he could sell that CIB on it's own to the right people and make $140. As far as N64 stuff goes I'm not really sure anything there is worth more than $10-$12 realistically. Nothing particularly rare; although Mario and Zelda are popular enough to fetch a higher price maybe. No idea on what the system is worth, maybe $50. Not too big on the N64 personally.
A lump sum of what the lot is worth, I honestly don't know. My prices are probably higher than they're worth, and if this guy is good he'll give a bit of a discount if you take the whole thing. The SNES stuff is what'll likely run you the most (it's one beautiful lot of games if it's CIB and in good shape). For reference Illusion of Gaia, Chrono Trigger, Lufia 1 and (I believe) 2, and Secret of Evermore came with maps. If any of them are missing maps you can take a little off the top of those. Evermore also comes with a nice little poster as well.
That's my personal take on it anyways. Prices are probably higher on Ebay, but they usually seem to be.
I'll just ask him for roughly what he was expecting and if it's low I'll definitely take it because as you said, if the majority of those RPG if CIB including maps could be worth a bit. He's giving me a list of what's CIB and what's not later so I'll report back with more info.
Beyond that shameless plug, even if what he has is mostly CIB that doesn't automatically mean he's a collector or anything. Some people are just as anal as collectors when it comes to having things in good order. Hopefully you'll get a fair price that'll make everyone happy.

He wants $5 CAD each for the games, the ones in bold I'm purchasing so if you'd like any of the others let me know. It's about an hour drive so I only want to make one trip.
So the grand total is $85 CAD for:
Super Star Wars - CIB
Super Empire Strikes Back - CIB
Donkey Kong Country - CIB
Super Mario Allstars - CIB
Lufia 1 - CI
Lufia 2 - CB
Secret of Evermore - CIB
Chrono Trigger - CIB
Mega Man X - CIB
007: Goldeneye - CIB
Super Mario 64 - CIB
Final Fantasy VII - CIB
Only issue is he said the Chrono Trigger box isn't in the best shape which really makes me sad, but to each their own, may not be that bad.
EDIT: I assume you didn't pick up any actual systems with all of this?
