Mighty One's Thread of Continuous Fortune (Updated 6/5)
I figured I'd start a continuous thread of my finds as I get stuff on a regular basis.
Thanks to Tanooki I was on the lookout for a tabletop Pac Man and got one today.
Tabletop Pac Man - $19.99
PS2- $39.99 (I only got this becasue Amazon had a trade-in value of $200 for these the other day. I was able to lock in the TIV at that price so I'm hoping it works out in my favor. We'll see.)
Alpha Protocol - $4.99 (hope it's fun...)
Cyber Sled Longbox - $4 (Icouldn;t really find a value on this version. If anyone knows please let me know.)
Super Metroid - $3.99
Contra Force $2.99

It always amazes me the value of some things at the Goodwill. This Wall-E toy was $5.99. Apparently it's a bit rare and can fetch up to $80.

Some books. The blue book is one I'm having a hard time valuing. The only one I could find was on Amazon for $300 so hopefully that isn't overvalued.

The one DC book had this dudes business card in it. Kind of funny

The Complete Far Side- $49.99 (I'm not sure if I want to sell it or keep it.)

I was a little bit disappointed as I had hit at lest 10 stores and the pickings were unusually slim
Things started to look up thought as I ran across this.
I hadn;t planned on hitting the Goodwill where I got all of this, which is usually how ti works out.
The true score, though, came at the last one I went to. This thrift store is cash only and for profit so I don;t normally hit them up as they don;t get a lot of good donations. This was in their display case:
And also these three cases:
I was in a hurry and didn't do my normal looking up of the games. They were $1.95 each and I should have been a bit more discerning as I could have just ignored the unimportant ones like Tetris and stuff.
Some decent games, overall not too bad as a lot of them had the manuals so those are salvageable:
These one's were definitely worth the $1.95 price tag:
The unlicensed ones were what really excited me. I have no experience with these so I was a little disappointed when I got home and looked them up. Not the treasure I had been expecting.
This one though.... Did I do good?
PCB=Printed Circuit Board
Wow, really lucky to grab that proto. How much was it? I don't know a lot about prototypes but I've always wanted one.
It was $1.95.
And the lowballs start...
Holy crap that's a nice proto and Bonk too at $2. I miss being not in this state where goodwill and the like actually get games, even shitty ones.
Even when the cart is put together and in a black sleeve?

I was gonna say something about getting some more sticker action on those windows.
And for fun here are some really weird 12" vinyl dolls I found. Rosy butt cheeks and a thong with a nighty is kind of twisted.
This one is pretty cool. It has a tag like it was in an auction. It's also been put in a really expensive acrylic frame. If only it was The Thundercats though.
A beautiful vintage boxed Famiclone. I was so excited at first that I found a Famicom in the wild but oh well.
This cart was inside the box.
It may not be a legit famicom, but for all that's there including the hidden 200-in-1 you can't feel too bad about it.
Yeah, unfortunately I can't get it to work so I think it's DOA. I'm going to have to convert a cart too so I can test the cart. I spent $21 on it so I overpaid.
