Oh, by the way... I read on the main list that Mermaids of Atlantis and Bubble Bath Babes are considered duplicates. I remember reading somewhere, though, that there were some slight differences between the two versions, which could potentially be enough to separate them for the challenge. I read a few articles about the version differences in a fit of curiosity, and if my memory serves correctly, A-type was slightly streamlined in Mermaids, its levels being split across multiple difficulty levels and the bubble requirements being tweaked slightly... although B-type was identical, I believe. Also, I think it was possible in Mermaids to start at any level you wanted, as opposed to having to do the whole thing in one go.
...aha. That was mentioned in a review on NES Player of Mermaids of Atlantis. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it.
If nobody has done it yet, here's Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom
Very fun game, nicely done.
Thanks man. I've always loved that game but had never sat down and finished it. it was pretty awesome to finally experience the entire thing to the end.
Maybe I missed where score-only games are explained, but how did somebody "beat" Tetris?
I know for a lot of unending, score based games, Wiz is counting them as finished if you beat the default High Score. With Tetris, I think they also added in beating the toughest settings on B-mode to complete the game.
I say he got fire spat in his face. Terrible pun, yes. I know.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is the bad ending where you have the gold dragon that's stronger than normal, has more health and you don't have to play all the stages. This equates to "beating" Double Dragon II on Practice when you only get to play the first three stages.
In order to play the game in normal mode, you have to finish the introduction stage without dying, which is pretty easy. The normal mode is much more challenging.
It's a good start, but try again playing through the whole game.

For some games it is to beat the default high score. For other games it is just to clear a round on the highest difficulty setting. Last year I "beat" pinball. I think it was at 100,000 points, the paddles disappear. But at 150,000, they reappear. So to "experience" the whole game, 150,000 points was required.
Decided I would jump in here, as I've been racking up a lot of NES carts lately. Here I've completed Twin Cobra, so that one can be marked off the list!

It was fun... for a while. Now it will sit on my drawer for a long, long time.
Just beat Dizzy the Adventurer.
Nice. I thought the Dizzy games were pretty fun.
Over the weekend, I beat Willow.
It only loads the game list up to somewhere in the G's and then all the posts below it are green.
Edit:
It stops right at a color tag, without defining the value attribute, nor closing it.
On another note, A Nightmare on Elm Street is now done.
I think some data was lost during the database migration.

The 2010 thread suffers from the same problem (http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=...), but stops at Home Alone instead of Gradius.

Looks like they got the list fixed now, which is good to see. It's not updated though, since Wiz hasnt been on in a couple of weeks.

How about this?
