Ocarina of Time 3DS Display Case

Got it for less than $10. The backside label is clearly not finalized graphically.

My local Gamestops didn't have this display box, found this on ebay and snatched it up quickly.

  • Looks to be a generic DS case with a random zelda oot 3ds printout? Not to knock on it or anything.
  • Most likely then, Gamestop only received the paper label from Nintendo and Gamestop used an available DS case to put it in. That or the seller swapped the 3DS case for a DS one which I highly doubt.

Either way the label is 100% legit for sure and that's all that matters. You can get a case anywhere.
  • The inside case looks like it's the case to a normal DS

Edit: What Sticky said but I'm no expert on gaming boxes. I popped a few of my 3DS and DS games open and it just looks like a normal DS case that someone slid a print out into.

It's not fake print out sigh.... . I know offically quality when I see it, it's glossy and compleyelty true to boxart I've seen online. It's also precision cut.
  • You paid that much for a gamestop printer made filler cart box? Why? Gamestop does glossy filler inserts.
  • Seems like a high price, but it does look sweet. Who cares what he paid. If you're happy, be happy! Money's just money.
  • The main appeal for this item is that the general public shouldn't have it, especially not yet with the game not even being released yet for another month.

Not easy t get ahold of :_(.

I did think the case was something unique to display cases until you guys mentioned it was a DS case though :/. I don't have any DS games.
  • i saw these in gamestop yesterday. it is legit, but can be had free if you ask (or when they toss them)

They aren't going to toss them for a while though.
  • it comes out june 19. no need for them after that
  • Yeah, it's cool to have one today but Gamestops print these things like no tomorrow. There was a member here who would sell huge lots of unfolded "Not for Resale" DS inserts printed by Gamestop. I got a few buried somewhere, it was all first party stuff like Mario Kart / New Mario Bros. DS / Kirbys / etc.

It's a cool item to have, but if you bought it thinking it was worth alot... eh not so much. I'd flip it really quick if that was your goal.
  • $10 is too much for that
  • Looks like it's going to be a cheap game. 39.99 USD? We pay up to 90 bucks for a game here in Norway. My copy of Super Street Fighter IV cost me $80.

Neat case nonetheless. Next step would be to get your hands on a "Not for resale" cart of the game, to go along with the case?
  • I got 2 unused Zelda 3DS promotional displays yesterday from my friend at GS. These look effin awesome. I also saw a Zelda 3DS poster with a huge link. Already called dibs on that one too. I'm the only individual that buys anything pther then sports, fighters and shooters at my local GS. I'd pay $10 for these since these might get destroyed with all the attention there going to get during the release.
  • Well Aleck, I think it's awesome. Don't let anyone get you down. You paid what you thought it was worth and you're happy with your purchase. Enjoy it! It'll be something you can show people that you got before the game actually comes out. It will fit well with your OoT collection too. Be proud.
