$5 is a good price for a 5screw zelda? I'm just curious, either way I'd be happy buying zelda for $5. I just know how much screw type values on that with one vs the other.
ive seen a couple of them. but most i see are the 3 screw version. mine is an early one due to the back label is black instead of red..then later it was changed to red..i believe.
So what is that 5screw zelda worth when most/all the gold paint is still intact? I'm just curious as I have one from the day it came out in pretty nice shape still (not selling, just wanted to know.)

It's really not anything too special, but variation collectors dig it. A round-seal CIB one in minty shape could probably fetch a few extra bucks I suppose.
I've sold a lot of the 5-screw/3-screw Zeldas on here before to a variation guy, so I know there are people who try to have both. I'm usually a sucker for the older version of something but my minty box is an oval seal, so I stuck with the 3-screw for my personal collection.
although 3 screw, I got both gold, and grey Zeldas for 50 cents apiece....at the same time! I spent more cash on my soda at that flea market, than my games that day. I think it used all my "lucky points" cause I haven't really found a awesome deal, since... The Triforce Curse....and now you got it!
See that's what I was curious about, thanks 8bit. I know how it is with variants. I had that so called "9/10" rarity Volleyball and I ended up selling it to bella as she needed it. I think it was like worth 2-3x over the standard one.
