So........
So tonight, I'm sitting in Subway and I check craigslist and it shows a Donkey Kong Country Competition Cart for $10. Well I think it's probably a scam, but I emailed anyway, got a quick response saying well someone has offered $10, but if you go $15 it's yours. Well I said ok, and finished eating still thinking it's a scam. Turns out it's in an ok part of town, certainly not the hood but not somewhere I enjoy going at night either. I talk it over with my girlfriend, she says, what the heck lets go. And off we go. Did I mention I tried to get a phone number and got told, well I won't have one until tomorrow, further making me weirded out by the situation but we carry on. So we get there, I think I find the house, I email the guy and out comes an older man sitting on his porch. He says hey you the guy that emailed me, Im like yea, he says, I didn't realize how popular this game is, I had 4 more people email and offer more than you. I say, yea Nintendo is some popular stuff these days. Anyway I give him the $15, he gives me the game, and away I go. I doubt it's going to get much better than this in finding a cart in the wild. Oh and this one has the blockbuster box to it and the cart is in really nice shape. From eating Subway to an amazing night.

But anyway, amazing find! Must be an adrenalin rush still! Congrats! What the hell is up with a shit ton of rare games coming out into the open? I want some, plzkthx.
if he actually offered it to somebody else that guy is probably beyond PISSED. but he might have said that to get an extra five from you.
I was thinking the same thing. Sucks for the other dude, but awesome for you.
You are lucky. He could have just as easily said the same thing to the next guy who emailed, but said $20.
He probably just said that to get an extra $5 out of you but that's nothing to really complain about in the long run.
This guy probably thought he got a good deal. These games can't be worth that much already, and this one is just some old rental game.
