Has anyone ever seen one of these before? It has the same image on both sides. It is dated 1989 and well its freaking amazing! Any info would be appreciated.

  • haha thats freakin awesome =)

of all things they could be made into a Zelda collectable...why a trash can?
  • I've never seen this one. I had a garbage can as a kid that was the same shape but it was original Zelda themed. This one is pretty sweet!
  • That's very cool. I haven't seen this one. It does seem to fit the style of the other Nintendo themed trash bins from back in the day.
  • I've seen a Mario and a Punch out trash can that is the same shape and size (most likely from the same manufacturer). I really want any of them to use in my game room.
  • Seems really unique. And definitely looks like it's from 1989, haha.
  • Pretty neat item man, a keeper for sure
  • I saw it when I was a kid at a (possibly?) regional dept store called Fisher Big Wheel. $19.99. Mom wouldnt let me have it cause she had just bought me the wooden mario chest that everyone seems to want lately. Damn you mom....
  • Yeah I have seen the mario one, the punch out one (which I have), the regular zelda one which is white and has him like jumping out but I have never seen this one as far as nintendo trash cans go. I hope someone will have some more info on this.
  • This is awesome, a truly remarkable artifact.
  • Awesome collectible for an amazing and under-appreciated game!

1st part is okay, ehh on 2nd part.
  • Nintendo literally threw their name all over anything they could think of back then, did they?
  • Yeah, this is the rarer Zelda trashcan.
  • Yeah, Arspd has one for sure, saw one on eBay last year. Far more uncommon than Zelda 1.
  • I had this can when I was a kid. I believe my mom bought it at Child World. Funny story about this can. My friends and I were helping my mom clean out her old house since she was moving to Maine last year. I actually found this can in the basement. Sadly, since it was a old leaky basement, it was rusted out all over and I had to toss it. Glad to see that one still lives!

My best friend still has all of his and even still has the USS Flagg. I'm going to be selling his stuff soon for him. I can't wait to dig through it. He used to get the figures when he would go to the mall at Child World for a dollar each.

  • Yea I've only see one of these before, def the hardest to find of the trash cans, very nice!
  • I'm pretty sure my friend had one of these when I was young.
  • Anyone know a value? I am guessing the 75-125 range. Wonder what you guys think.
