I got a Atari 2600 with 2 joysticks 2 driving controllers and one split wire paddel controller and one game for 25 dollars and the game is common

    Atari collecting is fun. If you're not too serious about it. Collecting the carts is a blast, since they're almost all dirt cheap; you can often find lots for around $0.50 per cart. But I'm a little on the insane side, and I like my games 100% complete, even though I have no wiggle room to spend.. Lol



    But yeah Atari boxes are a giant pain in the ass!

    I got my first Atari last year at Goodwill for $30. It was in real nice shape, looked like it hadn't been played much. It came with a handful of games, CIB, and 2 joysticks, a split wire paddle and a driving controller.

    you did pretty well. If you happen to like Atari2600 games, but are not interested in collecting the carts, you should buy the Harmony Cart. http://harmony.atariage.com/



    Oh, and the remote controllers are really nice, they really work. Also, try to get this: http://shop.vetcosurplus.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=759 . Works way better than the antenna box, gives a much cleaner image.

    Congratulations on your Atari 2600 purchase. Follow 3GenGames recommendation on pursuing Activision titles. Some of the games you may want to look for are Pitfall I and II, Spider Fighter, Keystone Kapers & Frogger to name a few. Good luck and enjoy.

    Get the Circus game, it's veery fun. Combat too, and it's the easiest game to get.
