    this.

laughed so hard, then read the wiki entry. 3 people died BUT 4 were born, so it wasn't THAT bad

    I disagree.
If I am going to take leave and make a 4/5 day weekend out of it, I would rather go somewhere new. Why burn my leave if I am only going to Seattle/Portland? I can do that any day...but if we are going to go to Salt Lake City/Denver or their burbs...then again I don't think I would drive more than 8-10 hours...
It is true that you will never please everybody.
  • How bout you guys see how much it would be to rent a charter bus for a week or 2 and all the guys from the west coast can come to the East Coast one I think this would be the best idea ever!
  • After hearing about the transportation issues with this years campout, make the west coast one with good access to an airport. AFAIK Portland is a good choice for that? However there is already an expo there so an Oregon campout may just be duplicating that effort.
  • ^^^very true, we kind of already gather there I can see where this could be tough, Paul, you are amazing! Hmmmmm Any amazing ideas are welcome

  • Salt Lake Salt Lake YES

I would only have to drive 8 miles, being I'm a minor it's near impossible for me to get anywhere far.

If I could get there under a 100 mile drive, then I'm in.
  • Well I vote against Utah period!

Moe that is Amazing and would be central for everyone
  • Guys, I can for sure buy or bring my industrial sized KY.

I vote against Utah as well, they have shitty beer laws there and a lot of guys that look like Josh.
  • Is this going to be a bunch of single people, or are families going to be involved too? I was just thinking about the 160 bucks a head that was mentioned earlier
  • How about Vegas? Think about the debauchery! And Vegas is in a bit of slump from what I understand. We could probably rent a big house or something really cheap.
  • I would try to make this, provided that I had enough notice. Although I have no suggestions and am therefore useless. Also, nobody really knows me around here so boo.
  • ^^^ no worries, all are welcomeIndustrial ky goes a longggggggggggggg way
  • Las Vegas would be cool. Hotels are cheap, there's a lot to do, poker tables for the gamblers, tons of entertainment, prostitutes and flight packages can be pretty affordable for most people.

It would be me and my wife. $160 each is a lot, though. I think that was just a rough estimate for a whole week at the beach house with 25 people.

If we could get it down to $40 a head I would be more able to. Unless I get a good job here, soon.

I think it would work out great.  If we stay in one of the older hotels on Fremont St it should be really cheap and we should be able to get like a big banquet room or something all to ourselves without a problem either.

There's tons of stuff to do and cheap booze!

Isn't that why the camp out got started in the first place. So a bunch of "NA FRIENDS" could get together, play some games and swap stories about NOA. By keeping it in tents makes it possible for everybody to come, not just those of us NA millionaires.
