Goodwill find

Its not anything super special but i went to my local goodwill (no games ) so i almopst left but i walked back to the toys and what do i find but a vintage 82 Donkey Kong doll in perfect shape for .50 cents. Yeah i left happy.

    my digital camera was stolen months ago and i haven't purchased a replacement yet. As soon as i do i will post some pics of my finds.



    I like the Hunter pic by the way probably the most famous person besides Abe Lincoln to come out of Ky.

    Nice score! I need to start slowing down and looking everywhere during my rounds. I usually just go to where the games are and then off to the next one. Wonder how much stuff like this I've missed in my haste.

    They only have Genny games here in Iowa. I have only found an NES game at a Goodwill twice in the past 3 years

    You used to be able to find them here (ky) but not anymore i think someone who works there may snag them. I was lucky to find Donkey Kong.

    How often do you guys check? It seems the more often I check the luckier I get. Ask the employees which day they restock items and check in a few times on that day. Someone stole a few PS1 discs the other day, which annoyed me because I would have bought them. Stealing from Goodwill? That's just pathetic.

    I like goodwill for weird stuff i grabbed a set of 78 rpm records that teach conversation (1940's) French that was English made in a little plywood case. It was so random and only 5 bucks and i looked on ebay and it had a buy it now of 50 (and that was in australia) so i figure its worth 30. The coolest thing was that it had a hand signed inspection paper stuck in between the records. That was just cool to me some guy in the 40's looked at this set and said OK here ya go.

    Yeah, I got some Fairchild Channel F games there years ago. CIB. I'd consider that to be a weird find. I hadn't even heard of the fucking thing until then, I wasn't even sure whether they were games or not when I picked them up.
