Nothing too special here, just a few things I found that I really wanted to add to my collection! I know I could have gotten South Park and Kid Icarus way cheaper online, but the retro game vendor at the flea market went on this whole thing about how he needs money to get his daughter a plane ticket to come home and visit him yada yada yada. He could have been full of it, but I was with my girlfriend and she felt terrible so she bought the south park game and told me that I better buy something so I just bought the Kid Icarus for a few dollars more than it's worth lol. I payed $21 for everything total, not bad IMO.
South Park - $10
Kid Icarus - $10
NES carts - $3 each
NBA Allstar Challenge - $2

Girls ruin everything. But yeah I just played NES Kid Icarus for the first time and now I'd like to try out the GB one. Does anyone know if I will be sorely disappointed?
Not at all, man! The gameboy version is actually very good...I have played it for a few hours since I got it and it is pretty difficult so far. Pretty much everything stays faithful to the NES version...the controls are actually a bit better in my opinion. Well worth the 10 dollars I spent on it, a pretty perfect sequel if you ask me!
Got these at a Buy n' Sell store about 20 minutes away from my house. They had some other pretty good deals at this place but I was low on money. I plan on going back pretty soon
Diddy Kong Racing- $5
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons - $6 each
I'll start with the Gamecube stuff. I bought this lot off my friend: Gamecube console, all hookups, 2 memory cards, 2 wireless controllers, console instructions and some pamphlets, gameboy player disc, LoZ:Windwaker with strategy guide, Freestyle Metal X, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Smash Bros: Melee all for $35. I then got Medal of Honor: Frontline and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent at a garage sale for $2 each. Then, I was at gamestop, and I noticed they had Mario Kart: Double Dash labeled as Mario Golf, so the price was only $7 dollars as opposed to the regular $20. I quickly snatched it up and the guy at the register didn't notice! I payed $46 total for all of the Gamecube stuff.
I saw this entire lot of Super Nintendo stuff sitting at a box in a garage sale. I asked the girl how much for the box, she responded $3. I quickly snatched it up and walked away happy as hell! Nothing great, but the box contained: SNES mini console, 1 controller, SNES manual, Aladdin, Ms.Pac Man, Animaniacs, Brunswick New Tournament of Champions, Buster Busts Loose, and Monopoly and Jeopardy Deluxe Edition both factory sealed.
Oh...the box also included one of the most fucked up SNES carts I've ever seen! I would love to know how this happened...
I'm really happy about this one. The guy was convinced the PS2 didn't work, so he sold it to me for $2. He knew the games worked, he had about 20 games, so he sold me 3 of them for $5. PS2 works like a charm. I got: PS2 console, 2 controllers, 1 memory card, Vice City, Vice City Stories, and Sly Cooper. Paid $7 total.
2 little goodies I found at various garage sales. Paid 50 cents for the VHS and $1 for the cart.
Not videogame related...but I also picked up these sweet Sheckler signature Oakleys for $10.
Does that Yoshi's Island still work?
Just in case your being serious...here's a different angle of the PCB hahahahaha
While I was in Chicago visiting my mom and sister I hit up their local Salvation Army daily to see what they had. I paid $2.95 for each NFR demo disc.
This morning I went to go pickup my girlfriend from her friend Zoie's house. While I'm on my way there she texts me saying "Zoie has a surprise for you, you're going to shit your pants." As promised, I shat. My girlfriend said she spotted these about 5 minutes before I got there and her friend just said, "I don't even have the system anymore, he can have them." I really needed a couple of these, so I am pretty damn happy.
Whoa, awesome freebie! Solid titles and clean labels. Go play Diddy Kong Racing, and then Paper Mario.
Thanks guys! I actually have Diddy Kong Racing and have beat it several times, but I plan on starting Paper Mario ASAP! It's one of the few classic Mario games I've yet to play!
