My First Cabinet

I have always wanted an arcade cabinet but couldn't figure out what to get. I almost pulled the trigger on a playchoice 10 and a DK cab but i figured it would start a very expensive habit if I bought one good vintage piece. This popped up on cl around me and i got it for $250. It came with everything i needed except a monitor. I need to do alot of work cosmetically cleaning it up and getting a few versions of MAME running my favorite games but atleast i can finally play caveman ninja, metal slug, and donkey kong in my own home. anybody have any recommendations for some great under rated arcade games i may have missed over the years?

    Hey there, I also made my own MAME machine, its a pretty sweet setup. Someday I gotta polish it up nice, nice. I love the X-arcade stick great choice.

    Very nice score dude! Since you're running MAME, I can offer up one of my favorite arcade games ever. Check out Domino Man. It was always the game I went to when the mainstream games, were full of players. Has an awesome old ragtime tune playin, through the whole game, which after a while, will make you seasick! (Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin, if anyone cares)It's very fun, give it a go. Again, nice pickup, and have fun!

    I think all (or most) of them are available upto Progear (2001). I'm not an expert on bullet hell/Cave shooters, but when you have "infinite quarters", they are mindless fun from time to time.
