However this lot is worth way more than 2,000$ how much did it sell for by the way?
maybe to you, bud but there is no way anyone other than a reseller should go over that mark, unless it's to nab the SE (if it's mint) and turn over the rest of that crap.
And that NWC is worthless to any real collector in that condition, unless some nefarious soul wanted the PCB to make a fake gold out of a zelda cart for major bucks.
He bought 5 carts and one complete from me for $245 + ship that he paid for today, looks they are already in his auction despite not having them yet. He also bought 100+ games from discountgames recently. Odds of that reserve getting met and him making money are about zero I'd guess.
I don't get it. Why would someone even bother putting together a complete collection and try to sell it so soon after? Wouldn't you want to savor in it for at least a few weeks? And I would say half the fun for most people looking for complete collections is hunting down the titles you need. This would just take all the fun out of it.
Agreed! I'de keep an eye on this guy when his auction doesn't sell for what he wants for it. I'm sure he will have to sell off all the stupid purchases he just made for less then he paid for them just to pay his credit card bills. That NWC that he bought was worth 1200 tops. On top of that, he looks like he's bidding up his own auction. No real collector will buy this unless they get a deal and can break it up for more. Its doubtful that will happen.
Man that Mr. T TV show was cool. Mr. T driving a tour bus around the country with a bunch of teenaged Olympians solving mysteries. Then of course you have to have some Live Q&A with the T himself at the end. Does it get better than that? I think not. I still have a record Read-A-Long book from that series.
He's also trying to ship it Media Mail. I would hate to see the fee's the recipient would have to pay if the post office decided to check if it really was Media Mail or not. Last time someone sent me a 70 game lot, he charged me like $20 for "Flat Rate Shipping Service," and sent it Media Mail. When it arrived, the mailman had me pay $15 extra for the Parcel Post fees, since video games aren't eligible for Media Mail. Needless to say that seller had a few emails in his box later that day.
well the reserve was not met on this auction.. if none of you saw he posted more pics and the stadium events was the PAL version, he tried to act like he didnt even knoe there was two versions. lol

Yeah dude every time someone sends games to me media I get the same thing.
yeah no one even got it. dumb. his reserve was like 20,000$ or something ridic
paying 4 thousand for the nwc cart with no label was DUMB
It most definitely was. As I stated in the thread linking to that NWC, he should have his head examined. Especially if his reserve was $20,000 for this listing...oh, the idiot nature of Random Joe Wannabe Collector. It doesn't surprise me at all that it didn't sell.
My guess is that he is hoping for another miracle to occur. A few years back a large collection (not complete in any sense) was sold to Penny Arcade for aroun 10k(or something absurd). Maybe he is hoping to repeat that luck.
