It's been a good couple of weeks. I got my N64 collection going. Games on the left are just the box, middle I need the manuals for, and boxes on the right are CIB. These came from my local spots as well as some eBay purchases. I also found great deals for Mario Party 3, Conker, Starcraft 64, and am working on a Sculptor's Cut.
The best steals of the summer for me was a SNES (with all hookups) for $15 at a Garage Sale, Earthbound for $20 from a friend.
Picked up some goodies yesterday at a local game store. Factory Sealed Diablo and Dune 2000 for PS1, New copies of Exodus and Bible Adventures for the Genesis, Minty boxed Jackie Chan for NES, and several NES carts. Another great day of hunting!
Today i snagged Ocarina of Time for the 3DS for 16.28 after tax at the goodwill of all places. still contemplating on how it must have gotten there.
Most likely a store return from Target. Goodwill buys a lot of the store returns from Target at 25-40% the store value. They then go ahead an try and sell it at retail value hoping that some one really stupid buys it at new price. Target gets more value from their store returns buy selling/donating there stuff to Goodwill (huge tax right off) then giving it to Mexico.
I found a copy of Uncharted Waters: New Horizons (SNES) for $6.91 after tax from a store that is normally way overpriced on everything...no idea what they must have looked up to get to that price, but I certainly won't complain.
Found a copy of Final Fantasy VII for $9 at a comic book store. It was $12, but I was able to haggle the guy, and he was cool with it. Just to be clear:
Got this in the mail today. Won on eBay earlier this week... not as mint as I was hoping. But, the sticker residue cleaned up well and I did get it at a good price:
Easy enough, use your fingernail and go very slowly (and don't push down hard). Rarely ever have a problem getting stickers off as long as I take my time. Get impatient though and you can end up tearing stuff off.

Nice find 8Ball those Pikachu N64s are pretty rad. XD Along with the rad Kid Klown cart. ^^ Loving the Pokemon figures too. Haha. Totally brings me back to my Middle School days. XD
Over the weekend I scored these at a Flea Market, got these 6 for $30 USD pretty nice. Made my 20 min drive worthwhile. XD I tried to haggle the lady down, but she wouldn't budge. She was selling them for her son who is a rabid NES collector apparently. She said he would have killed her if she sold for any less.
Then got this in the mail, it was .77 cents shipped from Amazon.
and it costs as much as i was willing to pay for one right about now, but just becasue i was willing doesnt mean everyone else is. so i dont want to reveal that so people will be thinking its worth the amount i put down, lol kinda like doug and his "1000$" bid, next thing you know its a 999$ box on ebay...

Weird stuff used to wind up at my Goodwill. I paid $2.99 for a copy of Spore two weeks after it came out for the PC--It was opened but likely unused.

But regardless, I'm overjoyed.
