Comments

  • CIBs tend to go for around $40-ish, so I'd guess around $20 each.
  • Thats not so bad image

Then i just have to find someone that wants them, im not collecting pirate games

    image
  • They're not exactly pirates -- they're more or less unlicensed.
  • Yea thats right, my bad image

But anyways i think im gona consentrate on licensed games for a start. Have to consentrate on something image Its hard enough to get all games that are licensed , image

No doubt! I have every licensed game (and unlicensed) except 1... and that one is a serious pain (SE)!

  • hehe image

which game is it that you dont have? image
  • Stadium Events (NTSC version). I don't even have the cart image
  • Get crazy and win yourself the SE that's currently on eBay, Dain. You'll feel better once you do.
  • I'd feel better had I purchased one several years ago, when I had the opportunity to get them for $250! (or even when they went up to $500) Right now I think the cart prices are too high, and they'll eventually drop some. Or maybe not. But I don't want a cart, I want this bitch CIB! And for that, I'm not willing to pay the current price. Besides, it's kinda cool to have the "not done" feeling.
  • something to be said for still being able to enjoy the thrill of the hunt...
  • Just refreshing my old thread. I have not sold thise 2 games yet but im going to soon. I was wondering if there are someone that knows what thise games goes for now. It seems Rockball is kinda rare, cant find it anywhere

    some input on this?
  • Lol nearly ten years later
  • I wouldn't expect a real payday on these.

Loose, I'd pay $25-$40 each for Sachen.

Well if i can get about 40 out of them i will be happy

  • I have a copy of pyramid from American Video Entertainment. Is it the same game?

There's an AVE and Sachen version. Gameplay is the same, but I think the title screens are different.

  • These games are worth more than $20 a piece, imo. $40 each is a steal, these are most likely original prints, am I right?
  • I guess they are original print, but dont know. I feel rockball should be more. Not easy to find anywhere.

Anyone bought a rockball game and can tell what they payed?

I would lean toward agreeing with JosephLeo.  I wouldn't expect a huge payday out of these.  Aside from Huge Insect, the other Sachen games are listed as 7s in NA's database.  Not that it's always right, but I'm not sure if there's anyway to say for sure that Rockball is any rarer than any of the others.  But you're right that these don't pop up every day, and I'm sure some people would be willing to spend more to get titles that they're missing.  Looks like the last Rockball sold on eBay in October 2017 for $75 after 16 bids from mainly two eBay accounts.

  • Okay, do you have the link for the auction?
  • I'd like everyone to just laugh at the fact that Dain was complaining about the price of Stadium Events all the way back in 2008 (maybe the price will go down xD ) I wonder if the last decade has changed his opinion on his older thought?
  • While you generally cannot compare Famicom to NES and vise versa, Rockball on Famicom is one of the harder ones to find, imo, and one I still haven't come across after five years of hunting. If the OP also feels Rockball is a harder game to find, perhaps there is something to the madness.

If these were mine, I'd probably sell for around $75 each.
  • Last Rockball went for 75$in October, And Last Pyramid went for 51$ also in October.

Also tried to check around on different nes value pages but the games cannot be found there.

Also it seems the labels on rockball is different, both front and back.

Pyramid might go for less but also think 75$ on rockball is current value

A lot of these Sachen games sell on eBay for $40-75.  You can always list them with a low starting bid and see what the bid goes to. Keep in mind that you may have to pay a dollar or so for a listing fee and then around 10% of the sale price. Paypal also charges around 3% for the transaction. So if you sell for $75, you may only collect around $67.  And of course there’s no guarantee you will sell for $75, in which case you would collect even less.  You can obviously ask whatever you want for them, but I would consider maybe taking an average of the recent sales and then subtracting 10-15% if you wanted to sell on NA. If you think they’re worth more and want to take your chances, list them on eBay.  I’m sure at least JosephLeo and I will bid.
