Becasue I think the guy who bought it did so for the purpose of putting it in his "complete" NES auction that just didn't sell on ebay. Big Surprise there! But to answer your question Dr. Morbis, Id'e consider around 200 to be fair. To answer your question Nofriendo, I would love to have CIB but wont be able to afford all of it at once, but yea, if anyone has the manual or the box...I would be interested in each! Its ok, im in no hurry for the manual. If one pops up, i'll try to get it but I am mainly concerned with getting the cart. I keep passing on it everytime I see one come up for sale so I figured I would finally just buy it. No luck at the flea markets in five years, I figure its time to just pack it in when it comes to searching for this one
Thats what I was thinking too but if I could get one from the forum id'e feel better about the purchase as far as it being legit. Plus, anytime I can avoid ebay its a plus!
I was talking about the manual... it's a serious pain to find, especially in good condition. I couldn't find one nearing the end of my set, so I gave up and forked out the cash for a CIB copy (thanks again, Parpunk!).

I had a couple of very serious offers when I posted pics of my F2 manual a while back and it's not even mint. It's pretty, but it's not perfect. I think that the next one that pops up for sale will pull a few hundred.
If the community had to place a value on the cart, what would you all think would be the going rate? I am kind of curious because it looks as though I may have to go outside the community to finde the cart and I dont want to over pay for it! I personally valued it at around 200.00. Would you all agree with that estimate or do you all think I may be off a little bit!?

I know! I picked a horrible time to get back into collecting nes! I wish I bought some of these a few years ago while I was in college. Back then(like 4 yrs ago), This title was going for about 75 bucks. I had to choose between this and a CIB copy of Bubble Bobble 2 for the same price and I went with the bubble bobble. I still think I made out in the deal, but in retrospect, kinda wish I bought both!
Even a couple of months ago, a cart could be had for 125-160 if you were patient. This last round of auctions definitely upped that. I wonder if the next few will bring the same $200+ the last few have, or will quiet back down to 150-175.
Man, I would pay $125 in a heart beat. I think the only chance I have of getting it that price is either at a flea market or if someone puts a BIN on ebay! I think this one will go back down but I dont think it will by much!
I sold one with a slightly boogered end label last year for $135 BIN, I didn't think it would sell for that. I'd say $200-$225 is a safe bet for one now a days.

thats an understatement. I won one of these on ebay a year or 2 ago, and i paid $90, i felt like a retard for paying so much for a NES game.
