WTTF: Nintendo TOPPS scratch off cards

A couple years back I bought a vendor box of Topps cards (I remembered how cool they were from when I was much younger).  Well, after going through all of the packs I'm missing 2 cards...and have loads of doubles/triples.

Also I've got plenty of surplus stickers including another complete set.

I'll go through the cards when I get home and post the exact two that I need,

but I'm wondering if ANYBODY here might have these... I don't really want to buy another boxed set because they've gone way up in price (bought mine for about $5 + shipping) and I only need 2 cards.

    very cool man very cool. I am going to start collecting these for my gameroom I will be putting together soon and I was going to have them put in a frame like thing for each card. Would you want to give me your doubles and triples. And I will be buying packs and boxes if I find any soon. I'll give you the two your missing when I do.

    I opened a box earlier this year and am missing just one from a complete set.

    So I "should" have dupes of any you need, unless we are both incredibly unlucky (or the distribution was way way off)



    I'll post the one I need tonight too (after the hockey game)

    Did you get friends/family involved in the card openening process?

    I had a couple people helping me. At first it was really exciting, but

    about 20-30 packs in...it kind of takes a toll.

    My kids helped me open them.



    I have a spare "Double Dragon screen 3". I dont have an extra of mario.

    I'm missing a lot more than I thought.

    Seems like the low numbers are the least common, seeing as all of my extras are screen 5 and up.

    Like I posted higher up, I only paid about $5 for a whole box of unopened packs, but they sell for a bit more now, typically.



    Open them up and see if you have the two I need image

    They're more fun to look at once they've been opened!

    I bought a couple of boxes about a year ago, very cheap.  I opened 1 box and was able to compile a complete set.  I just sold all my dupes on ebay a couple of months ago.  I would have given you the 2 you still need.  I'm gonna keep the other box unopened.

    ^^^ yeah, that is a shame when you think about it...but it's only like 5% paper to begin with. The rest is wax and caolin.

    I'll swap you my misc. stickers (you know, for the kids to play with) for the two cards I need.

    I had 3 unopened boxes. I ended up opening 2 of them. I know have a complete set, but not until I got to about the 5th to the last pack, lol. But after opening 3 boxes, I only got one complete set, if that tells you how terrible the dispersion was.

    I saved all my empty packs.  I plan on making some sort of collage or poster with them someday.

    Yeah, I saved all of my empty packs as well. Felt guilty about throwing away something with 1/2-decent artwork on it.
