So if it doesn't sell sealed, then try this...

LOL, I wonder how many of the foreign Color Dreams games are going to be, or already have been, opened and had the stickers removed.  Like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300218521857&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

Didn't sell high enough as sealed foreign version so, open it, remove 2 stickers and walla... almost mint CIB.  This probably will sell for this much as the US CIB's have been selling very high in comparison to the sealed foreign ones.  Notice the only damaged area is right where the back sticker peels off from the box.  HUMN??????

  • Absolutely. In fact, if you can remove the stickers without damaging the box (and assuming the instructions are in English), why not?

A box with no stickers and no damage would be interesting to many of us (you and me included) image
  • True, I reckon.

What you don't know, and can't tell a difference in. Can't hurt you...
  • I've noticed that the CIBS are selling about the same price as the sealed foreign versions, tho I assume it depends on the game - the difference in price may be greater in certain games.

I think CIB challenge of dragon is going slightly less than a sealed foreign version (last one I saw went for $123), while CIB  king neptune has been going for more. Especially with games like robodemeons and pradikus conflict, the US version definately goes for more. it doesnt seem to be a huge difference in price from what I've seen though, personally as a collector I'd rather have it sealed, reguardless if its foreign or not.

  • It all makes no difference to me, really.

Well, in most cases the sealed unlicensed games don't bring a premium over a minty cib.  They really never have, foreign or not.  There are a few exceptions from time to time but not nearly the spread compared to a sealed licensed game vs. a minty cib licensed game.
  • i had a mint cib foreign king neptune i got from an ebay guy in france a few years ago for like $25. i removed the sticker and now i have a mint cib ntsc release! image and i just bought a sealed foreign king neptune on ebay last week for $67 shipped from that dude who poorly listed his collection with those stupid pictures. i thought that was a good deal.
