Does this look like shill bidding?

I won this auction eBay and just got the game today:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=190591490015

I happened to click on the bid history for the item a few days ago and saw something that looked strange to me..  Does this look like shill bidding?  It kind of does to me but I'm no expert.  The other bidder had 0 feedback when I originally took a look at it, although now they have 2 feedback.  When I discovered this the item was already in transit.  I've got the game in hand now.  If it is shill bidding should I even worry about it at this point since I've paid and got the game already?

  • Who knows for sure, but it could be, that's why I use www.myibidder.com

Peace of mind, less insanity, no bidding wars
  • To me looks like it could go the other way, but if i had to pick id say no
  • Why'd you pay so much?

I have no idea if it's shill bidding or not.
  • Maybe? But got damn, $20 shipped for a gold Zelda cart? I must be out of touch with NES prices, or maybe the 5-screw price is actually worth more than 3-screw nowdays?
  • The 5 screw does sell for more (on eBay anyways) and I never see them in the wild. I really really wanted a nice shiny minty 5 screw cart and this fit the bill.
  • Duder, you shoulda asked here. I have a shiny minty one you could've had for way less than that.

Cap'n M drinker is too legit to quit - if you back out of the ebay deal, he's the man to see.

I've never heard of that site before.  I currently use auctionstealer.com, but they only let me use 3 snipes a week (before having to pay for their services).  Is myibidder.com better?

iI have the mobile app of my iIbidder. iI love it no limit (:
  • By the way, doesn't look like shill bidding. They have pretty spread out bids among other sellers.
  • Nah, I bid like that all the time. I'm sure it pisses some people off, but that's the way some folks roll on eBay. I'd rather bid small increments so I don't bid too far over the other's max bid. Much easier to set snipes that way and avoid ending with a much higher total than I want.

Completely free, and easy to use.

I just used myibidder.com tonight and it worked really freaking well.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you to everyone else to who commented as wekk.  I'm starting to think this was a not a shill bidding situation either.

I'd say that the quality of this cart, judging from the picture, and the fact that it's a 5-screw non Rev-A explain pretty much the ending price.

When you're looking for variant and mint condition, you don't want to lose the chance to buy it while it's online.
