  • Dude! I recognized you because of your mention of Image Fight. Whatever happened to your contest?

In regard to your question, I have no idea.
  • I was confused when I saw Zoomer up there... welcome back. I remember you were starting a Mario collection of some sort. Anyhow, good to see you again, and I have no idea about your Image Fight question, sorry.
  • After looking at your gallery I noticed some pictures I've seen before. By any chance do you reside in the Southern California area? Maybe Torrance?
  • The John Tesh Experience
  • Masato Ishizaki did Image fight.

He really only worked on like 5 games though, so sorry!
  • Nice. I'm slowly compiling a database of NES composer information, OSG. Was this something you dug up out of a source of some kind or did you just know it off the top of your head?
  • I didn't know it, but I figured I could use some google-fu. Started by comparing the arcade version's music to the NES version. When I was sure they were the same enough that the original artist would get the credit even if someone else did the port, went on to look up who was credited with doing the arcade version's soundtrack. Came up with his alias "SCLAP". Then I went on to look for who SCLAP really was and came up with Masato Ishizaki. Searched for Masato Ishizaki to see what games he worked on to verify my work.

Though a very real possibility exists that Masahiko Ishida did Image Fight if I am interpreting my finds wrong.

Anyway, the last search came up with this interesting site: http://vgmdb.net/artist/5333
  • Speaking of the arcade version..

This really should have been ported to the SNES!
  • Nice detective work, OSG. Thanks for the link, too. Very interesting indeed.

Yea I thought I've seen those pics before. Might have been craigslist. Good luck with your search.

Doubt it, the Genesis was the go-to console for direct arcade ports, mostly due to the SNES' critical sales in the US.
