  • pls put the link
  • How reasonable do you think the prices are on the 2 snes competition carts?
  • Is that the dude selling the stuff in the Star Fox auction? That's a syslish man. image
  • Huh? Do you mean is that me, no thats not me thankfully or my auction (unfortunately). I'm just asking because I'm interested in bidding.
  • I think his auction's are a bit on the high side.
  • Thanks, ya I just looked on a search on google too and you're right they seem to be on the high side. I guess I got overly excited seeing everything else there. Some pretty great stuff though. I wish the grey cart was in better shape. I know a NWC grey cart is a NWC grey cart but I guess I'm picky to some degree when it comes to condition (at least when it comes to spending that kind of money).
  • Mmmmmmmmmm......Chrono Trigger proto.I bet Dreamtr is all over that like stink on Shit.Does anyone think he will at least get a 12K bid on the SNES Powerfest cart?He is also including alot of history with the items(T-shirts,luggage tags, award plaque),Very cool!!
  • Some really nice stuff...especially all the extra goodies. He mentions that the SNES '94 competition cart is the only one in existence, but doesn't the user shrimp from Sweden (I think) have one of those as well? That would make at least two in existence.
  • That powerfest system is amazing, never thought I would actually see one up for sale, and that Chrono Trigger proto is sexy.
  • I sold him the Chrono Trigger proto for $750 or so about 8-9 years ago.
  • The powerfest is interesting, but that competition just doesn't seem to have the allure or the NWC. That and it's not an actual cartridge. I COULD see it selling at some point, just because of it's uber rareness and the other crazy Nintendo collectors, but I don't think it'll sell without some leg work to find the right buyer.
  • I really like the Star Fox jacket that's included with the Star Fox competition cart. I haven't ever seen it before...I don't think it'll sell for $450 however.

And damn, I can't believe this person actually has a Powerfest for sale. Crazy. I do think there are at least 2 in existence though (but I could be wrong...I really am not sure).

You think if it was a femal he would have gone down the street and gotten some hot neibourgh girl to model the stuff instead.

  • If you look at the waist size and hair it certainly could be.
  • I could be wrong, but I think the CT proto had a BIN for $1k. Why oh why would you bid on the starting price of $900 and risk being outbid later, when you could have just bought it for only $100 more.  The starting bid and BIN are so close to each other relatively, why take that chance?  I can understand bidding if the starting price was $100 or something, in hopes you could get it for much less, but not this.
  • haha I own a starwing competition cart. Wonder what his wil go for.

Nopes.. I have the Campus Challenge-cart. The one he sells is the Powerfest '94, and that's not the same "game". Only one copy of the Powerfest '94-comp. cart has been found, and that copy is the one being sold by themainkirkman.
  • That is some amazing stuff! It's too bad he has to sell it all. Nevertheless these auctions are going to make somebody happy.
  • WOW, and I was trying to squeeze 3000 out of my minty one. Glad it didn't sell now!!
  • The DKC got a bid too. Not TOO surprising, but intersting considering it wasn't complete. I think last complete DKC went for around $650.

As for the NWC, looks like the greys may be making a move upwards

Im the high bidder on the DKC. I need the periphels that come with it and not the cart. If anyone wants to go in on the cart pm me. I don't want to pay $450 just to get the items and sell the cart and the seller wont split the auction.

I got outbid by .01 cent on this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170213947386&ssPageName=STRK:MEDW:IT&ih=007

It was very poorly listed and was sitting at less than $150 with 15 minutes to go. I was going to pick it up for a double.

  • Great ................

Now when you tell people you collect videogames this is the picture that will forever be burned into their minds of you and your Nintendo games.
