My eBay Auctions! FFVII (PS1) and Chrono Trigger (SNES)

Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VII

I need to pay off debts. image

Will probably be adding SNES titles if they fall through.

I do NOT get free packaging and must pay for everything I ship in. Thus it's more expensive than all of you.

Thanks for all the accusations though, very much appreciated.

Comments

  • I put a small bid in..

    Why is shipping so much?
  • i've sold three of these in the past month. you should get about 60 easy if it's a black label. kproxy won't let me click the link to see the label color image

    good luck with it.

i have a black label version

if i didn't i'd throw a bid on it for ya.
  • It's greatest hits, so green label.

Anyways, shipping is so much because it honestly costs me $15 to ship anything anywhere.

I shipped a nes game, box and manual with a box protector and with tracking and only $100 insurance, it cost me $14 some to make it to the states. The main reason I'm thinking is the fact I don't have spare boxs to throw everything in and usually just pick something up at the post office.
  • I dont mind when people put shipping to like $15 or whatever. What it says to me is "This is how much I want for it and I don't want to give eBay money just cause I want to start the auction higher" as long as you let it show on the search I am always okay with it. Either way whenever I bid on something I figure shipping as part of the actual cost anyway.
  • I didn't notice you were in Canada.. I understand now.. I just thought I would ask..

    Good Luck with your auction..
  • As far as I'm concerned it should show on the search.

I put it in the description and also set the shipping prices for Canada and USA to $15 so it should show up.
  • I'm in Canada... and that would cost me about $7-9 to ship.
  • Like I said, I do not sleep nor bathe in boxes and packages, thus I must purchase some everytime I go to the post office which last time I checked, aren't free.

If you don't like my shipping, don't bid, I've sold stuff on here before without grief, may I continue?

I'm selling a SNES game tomorrow hopefully anyways so I'll take it to the post office and pay for it and scan the receipt of $14 and change then you can say I faked it or something.
  • Wow dude... sorry... wasn't an attack on you. I'm just adding to your point that it is expensive to ship from Canada. The same item shipped in the States would cost like $4, which is at least half of our cost.
  • Sorry, didn't mean to blow it up on you, just that's everyone except collectinisgame has made a comment about the shipping now.
  • Why is shipping so high again? =P
  • LOL!

Yeah, I swim in packaging, and usually costs me $10-15 to ship anyway, depending on what I sell. So $15 sounds about right when you buy packaging every time.

Note to Americans - Canada Post does NOT give away free boxes like the USPS does, as far as I've seen anyway.
  • Watching auction image. I've been trying to get this game for a while now, mainly for the purpose of playing it so  i don't really mind that its the GH version.
  • Well, it cost the same price for a CIB NES game in a big bubble envelope that I had to buy as a 160gb iPod in my own box with the popcorn to the states.

The iPod would be way heavier, but since I had to buy the envelope they both ended at up at like $15.

Both of those had tracking and insurance of $100. (Yeah, the iPod was broken so I went for it)

Mr. Gimmick, it is an awesome game I can assure you.
  • just gonna throw this out there...if you're crafty boxes are always free... empty scooby doo fruit snacks became packaging turned inside out and taped up for a Nintendo game ... saltine crackers box...boom additional games
  • You would think, but my mom bought cereal for the first time in months so I haven't even had boxes like that to use.

Trust me, I've seen big eBay stores use cereal boxes so I wouldn't care to. It's sturdy enough to hold the popcorn in with the game, it's good enough for me.
  • I didn't think it would be that high yet, that's cool.
  • Ohh yeah, it will get more bids as the auction continues... It's Final Fantasy 7... People go crazy for it..

I just wish I had time to play my copy more.. I need to level up some more before I fight Ruby..
  • I can send a bubble mailer with a game in it to Canada for less than 3 bucks? I am in Alabama, couldn't be much further for Canada. Not busting balls here, just a serious question. Why would it cost 9 bucks one way and 3 the other?
  • langenfeld, I edited my first post for you and everyone else.

Honestly, I think I should just jack my shipping price up even more since I seemed to have left out the fact that I must take an hour out of my day whether it's for one parcel or multiple since I have to take a bus to the post office and the fact that I spend $4.50 there and back on the bus and my previous job gave me $10.50 an hour.

    Good idea?

This'll be my last response to a shipping comment, but honetly, when you're looking at auctions and it says.

    Bid: $20
    Shipping: $15

Do you look at it and go, sick, Final Fantasy VII for $20 and not bother to look like 2cm over to see the shipping price that is listed for Canadians and USA, the market I'm shipping to?

Quite frankly, if you bid on something without figuring out the shipping cost and added that into the total, you're an idiot.

That game looks like it's worth $35 to get it to my door, not $20 and bitch about shipping later.

Add the shipping into the cost, if you don't want to spend $35, look elsewhere, if you're willing to bid more, go for it!

Very last thing, I prefer when the seller makes a set price for shipping so I can do just that and add it into the bid to figure out the total cost. That way I don't have to ask the seller and wait on them to give me an exact figure which usually ends up being off.

Guys, it's Final Fantasy VII, it's going to sell for around $60+$10 shipping so since my shipping is $15, I'm sure mine will end around $55 and if I put free shipping, it would have ended around $70. It's not like I put it in tiny text and left it out of the forms I fill for the auction.

  • Peroxide please understand I was not trying to be rude or anything negative, I was just wondering.. Good Luck with your auction.. I completely understand your costs involved..
  • I'm not taking it out on anyone, just stating with rage to the public. image
  • I understand.. I wish you the best with your auction...
  • Dude, being a smartass is not attracting bids, I was just asking a question, thats all.
  • I've dealt with peroxide here once though ebay. All was cool
  • Added Chrono Trigger for SNES.
  • ive dealt with peroxide before... i pour it onto cuts before i put bandages on it. i have also purchased stuff from him. everything worked well with my cuts and my purchases! peroxide is a-ok in my book!
  • langenfeld, did you look at the first page?

It wasn't only you saying stuff like that; not only you by a long shot so please don't take anything personal.

I need to help heal my own wounds today srh201. image

Stabbed myself accidentally with a butterfly knife. Not a bad cut, just the knife was rather dirty.

  • FFVII is done at $61 USD.

Chrono Trigger is still pretty cheap though!

The cart itself usually goes for around $35 I've seen or maybe those were fluke auctions.
