So Missa was playing with her new kindle fire and noticed that she can not type in certian area's of the site. After further investigation I have noticed it only affects some screens.
What it will allow me to type in
-Search Box's (All 3)
-Quick Reply
What is will not allow us to do...
-Quote
-New topic Body (message title and topic summary work fine)

Did not get real in depth with it as she is not that worried...but with all the new "toys" coming onto the market, might as well try and figure out what works and what doesn't.
Also not sure if it is her tablet or not, since I am never allowed to play with it, I could not check settings and such. (She has since taken it back and moved onto something else)
Not a big deal and really does not need to be addressed for a long while...but just throwing it out there so it is a "known" issue...

    Yeah, this will happen on any android-based device. Got it half working on my tablet, so you might want to try that on your kindle. Just type "aboutebug" into the input field of your browser, then hit enter. You will now have debugging options available in the settings of your browser and can select "desktop" as your device profile instead of android.



    However, I still can't get this to work correctly on my Evo 3d, and that kinda sucks because I'm on this site from my phone 90% of the time. I can't PM or create new topics because the OS doesn't recognize the text input boxes. Nothing sucks more than seeing an item you've been wanting get posted and not be able to PM the seller because of this issue.



    If anyone knows how to resolve please let me know! Thanks.

    Thanks for the info. I have been messing with it for a week or so now..but am afraid I will brick it. It is her's after all...I am just going to keep using my official NA netbook.

    On tabs and phones....sometimes you can click the <> option (or the HTML text) to switch texts, and they will fix your PM issue, and box typing problems.

    The areas you can't type in are the WYSIWYG editor boxes. These won't work on most mobile devices (iPhone/Android), so you can either hit the <> button, which will ignore any formatting (unless you add HTML to it directly), or use the mobile version of the site, which strips these:

    mobile.nintendoage.com
