Any PCB that takes up the whole space within?

Topic says it all. I was just curious if there indeed was any PBC that would take up nearly the whole space inside the cartridge.  Castlevania 3 is a pretty big board, but it only goes about halfway.

Any games that'll do it?  image

  • You have some protos that takes up all space. The MMC5 boards are the biggest tho. Kirby's Adventure is also pretty big.
  • what is MMC5?
  • some multi carts nearly fill up the game carts also, but it usually because of the FC adapter in them. But some of them do have huge boards.

  • Castlevania III and Kirby's Adventure are the two biggest standard release PCB's I've seen, and I've opened up about 600 different titles by now. I've actually been wondering myself if anything else I open from here on out will take a run at the size of Kirby's board.
  • Thanks for such a quick response....

Altho some info might be wrong, like it says that only Castlevania 3 and Kirby's Adventure used MMC5. First of all, Kirby's Adventure is MMC3 and there are more games than just Castlevania 3 that uses MMC5, altho not many.

I think Romance of the Three Kingdoms (or some game simular to that) got a big PCB board too.

  • ETROM and EWROM are the biggest Nintendo made boards, both MMC5. Found in Uncharted Waters, Romance 2, Nobunaga 2, L'Empereur, Gemfire, and Bandit Kings. So many unimpressive games using the most hardware...

ELROM is the short MMC5 board, found in Laser Invasion and Castlevania 3. MMC3 + battery like TKROM is as tall as these boards.

My board barely beats them all, going up into the thumb slot image
