  • Yeah, some ass cleaned out my local gamestop the DAY BEFORE I went there.

    Pissed me off.
  • Gamestops around here stopped selling anything cart older than GBA a long time ago.
  • I cleaned out there sports titles I still needed... other than that there was never much more than that there anyways....
  • I managed to get what I could.  I didn't come away with as much as I should have, though, especially where the NES was concerned, though I did come away with a nice stash of SNES, Genesis, and N64 games.  I didn't fare too poorly on PS1 games, either (Valkyrie Profile, Lunar 1 & 2, sealed Rhapsody, sealed Xenogears, etc. image ).
  • wow... they still had NES and SNES games at your gamestop!!!!!! Ours just had 64 games and very few PS1 games....
  • When I showed up I was already too late........everything was already cleaned out.
  • Er, sorry for sounding like a noob, but what's up with Gamestop?  Out of business or something?  I haven't bought any games locally for a very, very long time, so I wouldn't know.
  • The gamestops around here havent had anything older than N64 for a few years now.  I remember about 5 or 6 years ago, when I just started collecting, going to funcoland , and them having hundreds of NES games.  I asked them what are all these "blue carts"?  They said they were imports or something.  Im kicking myself now, I coulda picked up all those color dream carts cheap!
  • Knoxville and the surronding area has about 5-6 Gamestops. What I have found is that all the stores ship there old stuff to one desinated store to get rid of it. I had been to all of them but 1 several times with no luck finding NES stuff. One day I finally went to the last one and bingo a huge pile o NES. It was mainly common titles that don't resale well so I didn't pick any of them up cause they weren't that cheap. You guys might just want to do some searching in your area a little.
